This is one of the great place to enjoy comedy with good guys! Good location good vibe huge inside with unique wash room!

Pretty good for a dive bar. Karaoke was a bit of fun although its hard to get a turn. There was a bartender who was rude, and made a pissy comment at my boyfriend for not giving him a tip. Not the best location, my coat got stolen while I was here. Staff did their best to look for it the following day.

Great bar. Thanks for the response funky team. Truly is my favorite bar. I've been there for years and only until recently have been assaulted by your crew! Can you please ask your bouncer not to require me to pay him money to come inside because he doesn't like me. I also don't appreciate being assaulted for no reason. I have a broken Jaw and finger. He's lucky I'm not pressing charges. I'd suggest finding a new bouncer that doesn't act like a child and sucker punching patrons outside out the bar. I don't remember singing up for that.

Amazing little dive bar that's packed to the brim with energy on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Truly one of my favourite bars in all of Vancouver. It's a small bar, but that adds to the casual, fun, and tight atmosphere. Drinks are cheap, bartenders are friendly and approachable, karaoke is live and center stage, and there's a huge variety of different people and characters to meet in the mix. Everyone there is energetic and always open to meeting new people, having conversations, dancing, and having fun - you'll be accepted here, no matter who you are. There's large tables, small tables, and comfortable couches for when you need a breather or just want to chill and watch what's going on. Pool tables, darts, and a photobooth as well. Even the bathroom is fun to be in, since it's covered in unique graffiti and stickers. They make an effort to have local artists, bands, and comedians play as well. I always have a great time when I go to Funky's!

most hilarious atmosphere in vancouver, arrange for my friends 26th birthday, brought 20 ppl for the karaoke and was honestly surprised how much fun we had. Crazy weird immaculate vibes - bathroom a lil scary tho but suck it up and have fun

The bartender was so cool and chilled Love this place for the friendly space for new comedians cracking jokes. Everyone was so awesome. There are addicts outside and it seemed dangerous to be around here, but once I got inside, hearing what the host said, I learnt this is a really inspiring place. They offer free tickets for audience and so many ppl signed up to be on stage. Show started at 7pm every Sunday. It ended around 9pm. I feel inspired by the comedians. Sometimes it's hard to take things lighter, these people chose to transform their life experience into smiles. There was so many different styles in one show. And it's free. Wow. This is absolutely a cozy bar with hocky games on the screen and banging music. I was wondering if anyone would sing for karaoke but no one signed up at that night

pretty lively and friendly place, feels like an open and fun atmosphere, however the setup could use a couple more loudspeakers and higher quality audio setup to really bring out the true power of the music and most importantly the vocals coming from the microphone itself. It was hard for me to hear anything, but i enjoyed the people jumping up there giving it everything they got for the audience.

Vibes are on point here, definitely a dive bar, but still a great time. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who loves karaoke. Keep in mind if you want to sing karaoke you *need* to tip the karaoke host or you will have to wait all night to sing a song.

Non-judgmental karaoke, yummy cocktails, not far from great dining options in Gastown. Went on a Friday night, VJ was friendly. It's an eclectic dive bar vibe for sure It would be great if the city would provide more housing options for the poor people existing outside on the sidewalk, but Vancouver has other priorities

Dropping into Vancouver from Edmonton for our first time, we asked some folks where are some great local stops and FWB was on the top of the list. Granted it’s a bit of a sketchy walk to get here from Gas Town, we had so much fun and even got a chance to sing karaoke. Even bought a shirt to remember this place. What an experience!!!

Amazing experience here tonight. Went on a Saturday evening, and the vibes were fantastic! Absolutely loved the place and the staff were amazing as well! Will definitely be coming back here next time I'm out in Vancouver!
