Admittedly, I didn’t have the highest expectations when I first walked into this karaoke bar—it had a bit of a dive-bar vibe. But looks can be deceiving. I’ve rarely felt more comfortable, accepted, and genuinely welcomed anywhere. The atmosphere was straight out of a Billy Joel song (“Piano Man” vibes all the way). The crowd was a fun, eclectic mix—karaoke talent ranged from total beginners to jaw-droppingly good performers. Every age, style, and background was represented, and everyone was embraced and applauded. There wasn’t a hint of awkwardness. It’s the kind of place where a stranger will sit down next to you and strike up an easy, unforced conversation. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I had this much fun. The karaoke DJ was fantastic—seamlessly introducing each performer, spinning crowd-pleasers between sets, and even jumping in himself with some surprisingly well-rehearsed rap performances. The song selection was massive, and the energy never dropped. This place isn’t just about karaoke—it’s about community, laughter, and a really great time. Drinks were flowing, people were smiling, and the vibe was just right. Can’t wait to come back.
Missing Pineapple Hill but this is fine. Service is always good and the karaoke is still there. I'm ok with that. It's clear Bar Rescue could've done more but I'm happy. Still probably the best bar in the area that's for sure.
The only time i come here is Saturday nights. Specifically for the bartender Stacey!!! Shes phenomenal!!!!! Not only is she fast but shes super sweet and funny! Shes all the things a bartender should be and more!!! I will keep coming back because of her. The kj...KEVIN is awesome too. He is super friendly & sings a killer version of Abracadabra!!!! Request it from him...i wont be sorry
Not the most welcoming social climate in the karaoke crowd. But after my karaoke crew from San Diego went up, the PHG karaoke crew seemed to lighten up. If you are a karaoke fanatic like myself, make sure you've got your line up ready for older songs. The song list has not been updated since 2012 and there isn't a book of available song choices. You have to tell the karaoke dj and he has to run a search or go off of what he can recall.
Renz is a great place to visit especially if you're looking for a solid bar to karaoke at (6 days a week from Tuesday-Sunday starting at 9pm till close) as well an awesome community of people from all walks of life. During the daytime, the vibes are very relaxed and cozy. In the past year, I've personally enjoyed both their burgers and chicken quesadilla plates, which are some of the tasty food selections offered on a daytime/early evening menu that varies through the weeks/months. Shoutout to the bartenders Bridget, Chris, Stacey, and Sara to name some of the mainstays of late. Great drinks. Weekends can get pretty popping and fun, but I would encourage anybody to come through on a weekday/weeknight as well - the energies are fun and the mix of mellow and upbeat nights reflects the depth of people that pop through here. KJ Mikey, KP, and Guy hold it down and are gracious karaoke hosts. A welcoming and rad place that's a treasure of Tustin and one of the best places to karaoke in Orange County. Definitely worth a visit
We visited Renz Social House for the first time during Memorial Day weekend, and we had an absolute blast! The place was buzzing with a diverse crowd, from karaoke regulars belting out classic hits to new faces like us. Everyone was super welcoming, making us feel right at home. Whether you're there to sing your heart out or just enjoy the lively vibe, Renz Social House is the perfect spot for a fun night out. Can't wait to go back!
I go there only for karaoke nights that are from Tuesday to Sunday. My go-to days are when KP is there. He's the best karaoke DJ, in my opinion. Also Bridget is a fantastic bartender. Great spot if you like singing for sure.
Chris is a delight and a superhuman with exceptional hearing abilities.
