Found this Awesome spot reading an article about different places to visit in Memphis. Looked it up and saw the great menu of food and drinks. Met some friends there. Known for the Happy Margarita Flights. All food and the drinks was great. Will be back for sure.
New find! This was my 1st visit and it was amazing. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The prices are reasonable and they have a Vegan Menu. The Talipia Fish Tacos on corn tortillas had seasoned crispy fried fish with fresh toppings of lettuce, cheese, and sauce. Real jalapeno cheese popers that brought the spicy heat. The best dish that was like being in adapted sister's kitchen was the Shrimp with Tequila Lime Sauce with rice and mixed steamed vegetables. The Traditional Mexican desert was the best tasting desert that will take you to the panaderia. This is the best place to visit for homemade style Mexican foods.
Really good food. Love their margaritas. They have a really cool sampler,( pictured below). Service is kinda slow at times. Would have given it 5 stars, but one of my bacon wrapped shrimp was missing a shrimp when I got home. All I had was an empty bacon shell.

Food and drinks are absolutely amazing! Today is my 2nd visit in a week in a half.. the skillet is a must!!! The margarita flights are awesome but can't go wrong with the house margarita! True, not best area... But, haven't had any issues and the food and drinks are fabo!
Delicious food and great drink options, bar area is pretty. Big screen that usually broadcasts sports. Very beautiful scenery also has outdoor seating.
We went on a Thursday night. They play specific music tailored to whatever crowd is present at the time. It wasn't overly crowded, and the outside set-up is nice. This was our 2nd flight. The flavors are really good. We sat outside which was really hot in the summer, especially when drinking alcohol. They have portable fans, but I suggest they install a couple ceiling fans. The food is fresh and really good. We had chicken nachos. I anticipate going back, but will sit on the inside during summer months.
First time at Agavos Mexican Restaurant in Memphis Tennessee, I have to say that the service, food and hospitality are all TOP NOTCH , server BELKIN was an amazing person helpful and super nice, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
