Antojitos El Barbas

The best authentic Mexican food!!! If you're in Hutchinson, KS, do yourself a favor and have lunch here. I recommend the Buche, Barbocoa, and tripas tacos.

Wow! Had to run up to Hutchinson today. Had the wonderful good fortune of stopping at Antojitos El Barbas. This place is incredible. The ladies working here are exceptionally nice. The food was outstanding. I had asada tacos and a chili verde burrito. The burrito would have been enough by itself. Both were DELICIOUS! Everything I saw served while I was in in there looked incredible. Everything is made fresh for each customer. The food quailty is outstanding, and the prices are inexpensive. Cash only. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be disappointed.

It is very small but they do have outdoor seating which helps. Perfect little hole in the wall if you like those kind of places as much as I do. Their food is flavorful and fresh. You can watch them make you your food. Easy to pass by big you shouldn’t with this one. This place seems to keep busy and a lot of other people seem to like this little treasure as much as we do. Put this one in your list when you are out traveling and wanting to try something new. 5 tables inside and 2 picnic tables outside, one has a shade umbrella over it too. If the weather is favorable, I would recommend sitting outside due to the limited seating available inside. They also have candies for sale that are from Mexico so that is a treat as well. Be prepared to wait while you are here as much as that seems to be whole restaurant mentality these days. I would have to say they have the freshest corn tortillas around.

The people were super nice! The food was made fresh. My husband got the Asada and Chile Verde tacos. I got the chicken torta. The salsa they offer is superb. So unbelievably good and delectable.

Holy moly this was SO good! Fast service, fair prices, and so much flavor! New favorite location for Mexican in Hutchinson. We'll be back for sure. (Try the pork tostadas people) Thanks ya'll!

They now accept debit and credit cards! The most authentic tacos in the midwest that i have ever had. The red roja salsa is very spicy and the verde green salsa is mild. Everything is made fresh to order. I had the al pastor pork tacos with cilantro and onion and my partner had the birria beef brisket tacos. The birria was flavorful and the sauce juicy and the beef was soft and the taco shell was also soft and delightful. The spicy red salsa pairs well with it. The al pastor meat was tender savory and flavorful. The tortilla was fresh and soft. The green salsa wasnt too spicy. It tastes homemade and authentic. The place seems family owned and operated. The tacos take approximately 15 minutes to make but its so worth the wait. We saw about 3 call ins pick up their meals while we ordered and waited inside.

First time here. Pork tostada was amazing, ground beef tacos were delicious as well. We’ll be back!

Love this authentic Mexican food! Worth a stop These ladies are incredibly kind and can make a sauce that will grow hair on your chest.
