This place is phenomenal. I’m from Kentucky but in hobbs a couple times a year, I try to go every time!
The place is awesome. The chicken is warm, the tortillas are fresh and warm, the baked potatoes are delicious. The salsa is freshly made and pickled onions are spicy good. I will continue to get the chicken special. Thank you
Being from the border in El Paso and Juarez, I know my Pollo Asado, and this passes the taste test! I felt like I was back home. Que rico!! The spice is spot on, the beans and rice tasted made fresh, and the salsa complimented the chicken in the tacos I made. I got a Half Chicken for $12.99 (as of this writing) and it came with hot Tortillas, Half a chicken, salsa, pickled red onions, beans, rice, lime wedge, grilled jalapeño, lettuce, and tomato. Next time I am in town this is where I am going again.
The chicken has really good flavor, prices are ok expensive at all, the plate comes with rice, beans & salad.. chile toreado & flour or corn tortillas. Over all is good. The place needs a little renovation but besides that I like it.

A coworker and I went for a lunch between jobs. This is a barebones dining experience. That is not to say bare bones is bad or not preferred, simply just that this restaurant knows what makes it's money and they lean into it. My coworker and I arrived, having never eaten there before. We were treated with big smiles and the menu. The menu was chicken. A quarter chicken, a half chicken, or a whole chicken, with various promotions for each. My buddy and I opted for a quarter chicken each. The plates came with rice and beans, which were good, but not a reason to visit this diner. No, the reason you come here is for the stunningly juicy grilled chicken. A squeeze of lime brought out flavors and a gentle heat that would bring a smile to anyone's face. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a chicken craving as their grilled chicken marks the spot. Absolutely delicious, simple, and quick.
Nicely seasoned chicken that comes by 1/4, 1/2 or whole. Reasonably priced and delicious. Careful with the roasted jalapeño, it has a bite that will sneak up on you!
