This place is a hidden gem for me! Food comes out fresh and delicious, very generous portion size and quick and friendly service. I’m not sure what these recent reviews are all about. If you’re not a fan of the price you’re always welcome to go elsewhere lol.. I find the price reasonable but everyone’s different. Anyway I love the dishes it’s very comfort food!
Crayfish meat noodles. Medium spicy (plenty hot!) and oh so very delicious. Fast helpful service for my take out order - all the requisite sauces helpfully included. Going back for more.
So Good ! Best Taro Milk Tea I’ve ever had. Super quick and friendly staff. Good serving sizes too. Korean bbq beef was so juicy and tender, best beef I’ve had too. Chicken Basil Ginger was also super delicious. I’ve never liked mushrooms but these mushrooms were delicious! Not to mention they are open super late which is great for night owls. To be fair it was not very bar atmosphere when we went (Sunday late in the night) which was great because we like it quiet. Not sure if it gets super rowdy, but when we went it was perfect. I am a very harsh critic and this was just amazing, no notes!
For $16 I guess I just expected more for a protein dish that is supposed to be an entree. Even the container was significantly smaller than the stir fry noodles that I ordered for $13. Got the meal to split between me and my boyfriend and for the price it was barely enough for two people. The flavor of the food was good through in comparison to other places and it was 2 in the morning, so I was grateful for fresh ingredients. Would definitely go back but won’t likely order the broccoli beef again
Such a hidden gem! I ate the food here and was immediately blown away. Kind, patient, and very helpful owners. I can’t wait to come back and eat here again. Not to mention the area is beautiful, great for college students or anyone looking for a hearty meal
We were told about this place from a pool player. He told us he goes there to play pool. We had NO idea what to expect. Walked in around 8:30pm on a Saturday night. No one was there.... Uuuuhhhh did we make a mistake? We were sat down and we ordered. Cumin lamb, spicy pepper, a rice noodle dish and a couple of fruit teas (non boba). Around 9:00pm, thats when the crowds came in. The place got packed! We were the only non Chinese speaking folks there - me thinking "Ah, this is a legit Chinese food place". The food came quickly and were completely happy with what we ordered! Is it fancy food, no, but it was solid and they don't charge exorbitant prices. My fiance and I are extremely happy we found legit Chinese food and a plus is that they open late!
Hands down one of the best late night Chinese food place in East Lansing! Every dish we had was so so so so so delicious and flavorful! We highly recommend Hong's Cafe for everyone! You won't be disappointed!
Has THE BEST FOOD in town! We’ve been there a couple of times and have ordered different kinds of dishes. Every single dish is absolutely delicious! You can order anything you want and it wouldn’t disappoint you.
