Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant

Probably the best Mexican restaurant around the area (including Albany). I’m Mexican and even though it won’t be as good as if you were in Mexico. This is very good ! I love the plates presentation! Generous portions. Everything was delicious. Service and atmosphere were great. There’s plenty of parking in the back. Prices are reasonable and a good restaurant for families.

Very happy when we drive through and we get to eat here. In all the times I've been we have never been disappointed. They're fast friendly and the food is just great... It also comes out piping hot. A big deal for me. I don't like warm food. Theirs is served on a plater so hot they warn you.. nice! Great job guys.

I came here to have dinner after being in the hospital with my wife for 6 hours. They cheered me right up with their great customer service (thank you Maria!) The food was hot, savory, and everything I was expecting. The beer was ice cold and not flat. Restrooms were spotless. I will be returning with the rest of my family in the near future. Come here with your family and enjoy dinner without breaking the bank. No veterans discount*

Update #1: Went here for our anniversary dinner. Got some asada cheesy fries for our appetizer. They were surprisingly really good, we had some main dishes with a couple shots of Patron. Those were smooth and had a beer. All amazing! Our waiter was very attentive and assisted with my wife's mixed drink that was also amazing! This place always seems to do it right. I think it was one of our best visits yet. We went on a Friday around 5pm. Was somewhat busy but never did we have to wait on service at our table. Highly recommend this place still to this day. Original post: Ordered out some mini tacos and steak taco salad. They both were very good! The definitely provide a good portion in both meals. Their prices have gone up a fair amount but then again everything costs more than it did. Definitely recommend this place and to go out for a sit down meal.

I tried Ixtapa first time here. Very impressed with their food and service. The chips and salsa were very good. The server refilled our chips and salsa generously. Also brought a special spicy salsa after hearing about us like spice. The Burrito and quesadilla we ordered was also very good and freshly made. Very happy with the portion size and their fast service. The servers made sure we had everything and check on us couple of times. I would definitely go back there and recommend this place.

Dined in twice in one week. Food was consistently delicious, hot, fresh, and plentiful. Staff were kind and checked on us regularly but not too much, and it was never an inconvenience to request additional items. We visited on a very busy evening and we didn't wait too long for our food or to get our tab once we were done. I didn't feel rushed at all.

10/10 EVERY TIME!! The staff here are so kind and accommodating. They have great margaritas and great food I highly recommend the, “Enchiladas suizas.” Also their chips and salsa are some of the best!

Amazing service and delicious food. Lunch specials were perfect. Great portions.
