La Carreta Mexican Restaurant & Bar

The place is very Latino and authentic, like authentic Mexican food! It is large enough and has seating arrangements for large groups, which is pretty good! The staff is very friendly, welcoming and attentive, I couldn't need anything else there! The quesabirria was amazing and delicious same for the chips and Chile relleno.dalsas are tasty and not super hot, so everyone can have them! The melt cheese was a bit slim but it tasted very good with the chips and salsa!

First visit, joined other family members for a celebration dinner. We had a large party and had made reservations. However, we did have to wait quite a while to be seated and originally served. To be fair, it was a busy night and there were other large parties as well. The waiter was very friendly, but definitely overwhelmed as he kept forgetting basic items (like menus & silverware) requests from our table. Considering how large our party was our food came out pretty quickly. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes. Personally, I loved mine! I wasn't a fan of my cocktail choice, but that's my fault. I would definitely go back again. However, not as part of a large party on a weekend night.

It was a bit noisy and a little unorganized. We had to ask for silverware when our food arrived. But the drinks were full and kept coming as needed. The food was delicious and actually had to take some home for the potions were large. There was a large crowd present, so it did take a little while to get our food. But that was to be expected.

La Carreta is hands down our go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine, and it’s been that way for many years. We have celebrated many birthdays and holidays at La Carreta over the years. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the service is consistently top-notch. One of the standout reasons we keep coming back is our favorite waitress, Karina—she’s become like family to us over the years. Her friendly demeanor and attentive service always make our dining experience special. The food is flavorful and perfectly prepared, with all the classic Mexican dishes we love. From the sizzling fajitas to the freshly made guacamole, every bite is a reminder of why La Carreta is our family’s top choice. If you’re looking for a reliable, delicious, and welcoming spot to enjoy Mexican food, La Carreta is the place to go! The photos in this review are somewhat dated. This place is top notch! We visit from Chicago and still consider this place a staple. The golden margaritas are the best we’ve had and Naylen makes us feel at home.

We were invited to have lunch here while we were visiting friends and relatives from out of town. They did not disappoint. The food was hot, fresh & tasty. I had the Nachos appetizer. It was so delicious. If I lived in the area, I would visit here again. Bathrooms could use a little sprucing up, but other than that, the service was fantastico!! Thank you Staff.

Weren’t expecting to come here, but we were so happy we did! The hot chips that came out as we waited were delicious as well as the queso. Every person at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meal & our waiter was very friendly and good at giving suggestions! The giant burrito was HUGE! Would come here again!

The waiter Victor was so friendly! Queso fundito delicious. I’d order up from the house margarita next time, but it was still tasty.

This is an excellent restaurant. Service is super, food was delicious and plenty of room to sit......no cramped tables.

An easy 10/10. The chicken nachos and fried ice cream were delicious! And all of this for $14? Bruh, come on. Definitely recommend!

Very good Mexican food. Been there 3X and its just gets better everytime. Delicious fish tacos for me. Husband has chili Colorado..a little too spicy for me but he loves it.

Always friendly staff & atmosphere, delicious food served hot every time. Prices are perfect for the portions. Highly recommend!
