Hadn’t been there in years. Food was delicious but the place was empty at lunch and looked pretty run down. Atmosphere pretty dull with no music. Bathrooms pretty dirty. Place needs a good upgrade. But rhe food was delicious. Id recommend rake out and not eat inside
i am absolutely surprised at how delicious everything was here! i ordered the pad thai and it was the perfect amount of spice ! the servings for the mains were fairly large although the appetizers were a bit smaller in portions! otherwise the staff was great and restaurant had great ambiance!
Nice small restaurant. Very friendly staff. Had a bit of a wait for orders to be taken. Wrong order received. Pad thai was not the best I've had, but the best in Simcoe County. There were no variety of colours in the dishes. Pad Thai was the same colour. Cashew chicken was all brown. Good size portions & medium priced. All-in-in ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 10 stars
We got the Pineapple Fried Rice and the Pad Thai, both with chicken and they tasted great. $15.95 each, not bad at all! Will definitely come back.
From pregnancy cravings to mother-daughter dates with my now-almost 18 year old girl, this spot hits the mark. The owners are SO incredibly friendly and sweet, and the food is absolutely delicious. Veggie Pad Thai is my go-to, but everything is delicious. We love to go for lunch to have the lunch tray. It's the perfect amount of everything for a great price. We rarely have room for dessert afterward, but on the off chance that we do, it's mango sticky rice all the way! Occasionally, this option isn't available due to seasonal restrictions, so our second choice is banana rolls. We usually share, and I also love to have a Vietnamese coffee with dessert. (Strong, drip coffee with sweetened condensed milk). The restaurant has lovely decor and is in the perfect location to hit while shopping, as it is surrounded by the super centre and other little shops across the way. No matter what you order, it's 10/10. Can't go wrong :)
Coconut chicken soup has lot of chicken and mushroom. The creamy coconut soup is good, but chicken tastes little stale. Sticky rice ball is spicy and little sweet. It’s like curry rice in appetizer portion. Shrimp cake has vegetables pieces in it. No tangible shrimp. Flavor is largely covered by spices. Curry fried rice has aroma and little sweet. Again the chicken meat taste led old. Not fresh. Bottom line the variety is great. Just need a really fresh meat. Or order vegetarian dishes instead. Curry puff is great. Definitely need to try it.
My husband and I love getting the pad thai, its spicy and flavorful and the serving size is huge! Would recommend!
I normally don't like Thai food, but this place is great. Service is fast, friendly, and attentive. Food portions are reasonable in size and price, and quality is on point. The presentation is above average, and you can tell that this is a kitchen staff that takes ownership of the end result.
great food and decent spaced dining area !! absolutely loved the crispy spring rolls and the green curry had the perfect spiciness not traditional thai green curry but still delicious and will definitely be coming back
Nice lunch specials. Pad Thai was really good, and spicy! The sweet and sour pineapple chicken was delicious too! A good quick spot to eat in Barrie when craving Thai!
I called in and placed a lunch order for my team and everyone said the food was really yummy. Personally, I ordered the beef spicy indonesian fried rice and requested for it to be extra extra spicy. It was surprisingly really good, and tastes just like all the nasi goreng (fried rice) I’ve had in Indonesia I also sampled the fried tofu (can’t go wrong with greasy delicious tofu dipped in sauce!) and cheese wontons and they were good! I was however disappointed at the “curry puff” (see image). If you google “curry puff”, you get images of golden pastries with vegetarian / meaty curried fillings. The “curry puff” we got was made up of merely spring roll skin, with some filling and deep fried. It was misleading. The end product was not good enough to be called a curry puff nor a samosa. It should perhaps be renamed.. curry triangles? Good spot though!
