La Fuente

In the University town of Kirksville, this wonderful Mexican restaurant is a must go if you are studying or visiting your kids. Good menu options, and a separate section for the vegetarian menu. Being a vegetarian, I like it. They were also okay to substitute meat with beans or other items wherever possible. Tequila options are good too.

LA FUENTE is hands down the absolute BEST PLACE for Mexican food and margaritas (esp. blood orange & blackberry)! We visit La Fuente's a couple times a week on average, because we just can not get enough of the great food, the scrumptious margaritas, and the delicious cheesecake and fried ice cream desserts. But most of all, the owner and all the wait staff at La Fuente are exceptional in their duties and they always makes us feel welcome when we walk in the door. We have never been left waiting for anything, whether it was to be seated, waiting for our margaritas, or our food. Top notch service every time. Every. Time. And of course Rosa is the sweetest waitress, and Jesus is so friendly and great to talk with, but also very professional and a great waiter! Do we recommend La Fuente? Absolutely!!!!! Will we be back again? You can bet on it!!!!! See y'all soon!

Ribeye could have been better..... The meat was pretty tough and chewy.. otherwise nothing to complain about.!! Well worth the money and the pricing was very much inline.!!

This is the only Mexican Restaurant I will eat at in town. They are kind, treat customers like family, have amazing food and service! This is my go to spot! Also if you want to try something new and more authentic Tacos de birria is my favorite

Absolutely phenomenal! This Mexican restaurant exceeded all expectations from the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the vibrant, authentic flavors in every dish. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, the guacamole was incredibly fresh, and the homemade tortillas were to die for. The service was attentive and friendly, and the margaritas were some of the best I’ve ever had. Every bite felt like a celebration of Mexican culture, and I can’t wait to come back. Five stars without hesitation!

Except for the older building with a faded exterior this place is great. It’s like they know that they are good and don’t feel the need to update their building; not a bad strategy. Anyway, go there! Western Mexico/pacific feels and food. Very good. Prices very reasonable.

You would never know this little place has amazing food and Margaritas! We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was!! The service was outstanding as well! This is a don't miss when in Kirksville, Missouri!!

Enchiladas were delicious as always I did take out, food was hot n ready quick. I thought the amount of beans n rice was a bit skimpy for price paid. Rice was good People that waited on me were friendly and helpful
