My fav Chinese kebab place! I've been coming here for 2 years. They do have the best Lamb Beef kebab and oysters!
Very authentic northern Chinese food! It worths my trip from Vancouver, Canada to try this restaurant while I was in Los Angeles!
Incredible traditional BBQ I have ever eaten in LA! Stronnngly recommended!
This place is great! This my first time trying Hong Kong-style bbq skewers, and it won't be the last. The seasoning blend is cumin-forward, which I love. It' s ala carte, and the selection is broad and as challenging or as tame as you'd like. I really enjoyed the chewy Backstrap skewers. The service is friendly and prompt, and the prices are reasonable. I went late, around 10:30pm.
Small spot with outdoor seating, food is good, it's like a Chinese bbq shish kabob kinda thing. Most of the food comes out on sticks. Pricing is fair. Everything is made to order. I'm giving it 5 stars for the service and also that they NEVER close. I mean they were open on Thanksgiving and it was hella packed. Not only that, they have something on the menu that is ... if you can see my photo.
Best Kebab in LA!!! I was born north China where kebab is everywhere. I'm so desperate to find a legit chinese kebab in LA for years until I found this gem. Highly recommended!!!
Not a bad place. Prices aren't too bad. Seasoning is what it is. A lot of the skewer places don't really have much difference to make it distinct, but this place tends to add a bit more kick to their spice blends, which is great. The tower of beer is a nice touch! I'd prefer taller towers, but the fact that there are towers, is cool, nonetheless. Best of all, service was the best! My major complaint was that sitting outside, we had a canopy covering us, and there were some other guys smoking. Yeah, it's technically "outside" but I think they were really bending the rules, and kinda' stank up the place. They should only allow smoking in a tiny corner of the outdoor seating, away from the doorways, but if they put up that canopy, they really shouldn't allow smoking at all. That's not the staff's fault, but be careful with others you're sharing space with. Also, as nice as the canopy is, and nicely lit, if you expect to have a conversation as the trucks and cars are roaring by on Garvey Ave, that's gonna' be tough. So you may want to consider eating indoors instead.
Can't comment about the cafe style savory food, but I had the Japanese cheesecake and Rose green tea and enjoyed it. The Japanese cheesecake was shared between 6 people and we all raved about it. TheJapanese cheesecake here is a cross between a sponge cake, cheesecake and a soufflé in terms of textures and taste. It's lighter than the Uncle Tetsu cheesecake, but similarly priced.
