Best wontons ever! This place is new in town but I'm already a regular. My first visit I ordered sesame chicken lunch special and they nailed it! So good I came back 2 more times in the same week. The staff is super friendly and attentive and orders are made fast and fresh. They also have a bigger menu than any other Oriental restaurant I've been to in St. Cloud. Lots of things I'm not brave enough to try but I would recommend JJ Garden to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine.

Okay, buckle up. I grew up in the Cities, where MN-style chicken chow mein is everywhere—and moving out here, it’s been shockingly hard to find. On a whim, I tried JJ’s Garden and was immediately delighted. Their chicken chow mein is spot on: no slimy chicken, no bland sauce, just solid, old-school flavor. The fried rice is absolutely delicious, the cream cheese wontons are perfectly crunchy with just the right touch of sweetness, and the egg rolls actually have flavor (not just cabbage filler). The sweet and sour is tangy and sweet—balanced, not cloying. Honestly, it’s comforting to have a local place that’s consistent, delicious, and reminds me of classic Chinese takeout done right. I’ve already ordered twice since trying it, and I haven’t found a single thing I didn’t like. Tons of options, zero regrets.

So happy to have decent Chinese food! It's been years since I've had any that was this fresh. Even the eggroll had fresh cabbage in it. A great little gem in St. Cloud!

The food here is delicious. The portions are large and the food comes out fast, hot and fresh eat time. The service was great.

1st time trying it. The food was delicious! I thought the portions were small, but we both ended up getting to-go boxes!!! The fried rice is awesome!! The almond chicken was crunchy like it was deep fried. What an unexpected delight!!!

Oh my gosh, we finally found it after trying five different restaurants or Chinese and Thai cuisine mixed. We were so happy to finally find this one. Everything is superb. The portions are humongous and I can’t wait to go back and try more menu options

Overall the food was great. The only thing we didn't like that much was the beef & broccoli. We got the orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken and beef & broccoli combos. We will definitely come back the next time we're wanting Chinese takeout but we wouldn't order the beef and broccoli.

As far as the typical American Chinese food, it’s okay, nothing spectacular, but nothing wrong with it, either. If you like any typical Chinese restaurant in small-town America, you won’t be disappointed. They also serve ridiculously large portions. One dinner special is likely enough to feed two grown adults. So, as far as value for the money, they’d be dang hard to beat. I have not yet tried the sushi or the less-typical Asian food, I plan on updating once I’ve had the chance.
