Stopped in and ordered a chicken torta and steak tacos — both were excellent! The torta was incredible, honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were delicious too, and both the red and green salsas were authentic and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back here for lunch whenever I’m in the area.
Puebla Corner Deli is the real deal. These tacos taste just like the ones you’d get in Mexico, full of flavor, juicy meat, fresh cilantro, onion, and a squeeze of lime that brings it all together. The tortillas are perfectly toasted and hold up beautifully. They even throw in fresh cucumber, radish, and plenty of lime on the side, just how it should be. You can tell everything’s made con cariño. Fast service, great people, and food that hits every time. This place is a true gem in White Plains — auténticos tacos de verdad!
If you love a large plate of nachos loaded with cheese then this is your place. For $12, we were able to share a large plate for dinner and we even had a hard time finishing the plate. I only gave 4/5 stars for the food because it was a bit on the heavier side for me and the nachos could be freshly fried. However, the ambiance made up for it. The store had some very cool decor that made you feel like you are in Mexico. Plus, they sell hot food and a lot of random snacks which add to the overall vibe of the place. It was very home-y and gave me a feel of being in a grandma’s house.
Random stop for a quick bite. Foods good. Tacos were solid. It’s been a while since I’ve had tacos this good. Hot food (rice and beans w/ stewed ribs) felt very home cooked. I didn’t speak Spanish but this is the type of place I like going to. When I don’t know a lick of what everyone is saying is usually why I’m there in the first place. Def worth a try, I was lucky there was a lady that spoke English, otherwise it might have been kinda hard. But I would’ve figured it out.
This is the most Authentic Mexican cuisine in Westchester if not all of NY!! My friend from Puebla recommended this place and it’s a treasure! Everything is delicious: sopes, tacos (I love the steak ones) poblano peppers, tamales, tripe, street corn… so good!!! I always grab a few new things and I’m never disappointed!
We found this place through Google Reviews from a fellow local guide’s post! We ordered one chicken taco and one bistec, just to try the place out, but when the tacos came, they were PACKED! The chicken was actual pieces rather than bits, the beef was flavorful, and the cilantro/onion mix was there! However, each taco was $4.50, which is a little high compared to other places, and honestly, I’ve had better tacos for less money, but nonetheless, these tacos were still great! The service was a bit slow, they served other people before us who’d sat down before us, (We were taking to-go, that might be why) but was definitely worth the wait! The restaurant itself has a nice, humble vibe with 3-4 tables to sit, but the counter is a little close to the tables so 4 stars there. Overall, pretty good experience!
The food here is delicious. This place honestly a hidden gem, will definitely come back such a cute restaurant and again food was chefs kiss! had tacos de birria and tbey were nice but the quesadilla de pollo was amazing!!
Best tostadas ever! I keep ordering it good flavor and taste. Amazing staff
