Ordered tacos de tripa, lengua meat flavor is really good my co worker ordered chicken burrito he rated it the best he has had. The salsa and chips were OK I suggest a more spicy salsa for the tacos that's the only bad side I could pick out just lacking on the spicier salsa on the tacos.
I absolutely LOVE this place. I used to work at the FAA and we’d come here for lunch. Now, I’ll drive across OKC for it. The tacos are my favorite. Nice and juicy. Sooooo good. The wet burrito is another favorite. The service is always top notch. I don’t know how they keep track of it all. The salsa you get as an advertiser is always excellent too. This is my favorite Mexican place ever. Highly recommend.
Food was absolutely delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Plenty of seating for a busy lunch rush. We ordered the tacos, which were priced great at $2.95 a taco. There are multiple meat options, we got chicken (pollo), steak (carne asada), and pork (carnitas). The tacos came on (2) homemade corn tortillas, generous helping of delicious meat, diced white onion, cilantro, and a splash red salsa. They ask if you want everything on it when you are up under the order here queue, so you can customize it as well. Sat down after ordering and they brought out complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were freshly fried and thin and crispy, not too salty but salt and pepper at the table. Salsa was a mild spice level, thin in consistency for sure had thinly diced chunk too it too, had a heavy flavorful tomato base, it also had onion and cilantro and almost marinara like flavor very unique salsa but I found it delicious and clearly distinctive to the restaurant. My only qualm was there wasn't music playing, which is entirely a personal preference. I felt very present though listening to the sounds of cooking from the kitchen and background conversation from the other patrons but full of people having a good time with friends and family. They also had TVs with different channels, no sound, if you need your sports.
First visit, came highly recommended. I had the 3 steak taco plate. Very authentic look and taste. I thought it was a bit bland as I like a strong flavor. The value was pretty good. Parking can be a bit tight at peak times.
Highly recommend this restaurant. Food was really good. The price is amazing given the quality and amount of food you get. Service is really quick too, even when they're busy. Will definitely be back.
From its convenient location to its always fresh cooked food, can't recommend this place enough. I rarely go inside but that doesn't detract from the quality of the food and window service. I always get the same thing every time, but from what I've tried, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And they'll also remove things you don't like (not crazy about a lot of onion). Also, get the horchata!
This is easily my go to spot when I am in OKC. On my most recent visit, I went with the 3 steak taco plate; the presentation is incredibly authentic and the meat is always nice and juicy. While the tacos can be a bit mild for those of us who crave a very punchy, bold flavor profile, the quality and value are undeniable. Don't miss the wet burrito or their excellent salsa!. Service is good and they manage the lunch rush like pros. a heads-up that parking can get a bit tight at peak times.
I have had lunch at Tacos Don Nacho 4 times now. They are very busy, but do a great job getting food out quickly. The food tastes very fresh and at a very reasonable price. The chips and salsa are also delicious. I will definitely be back. I had the burrito plate multiple times. Al pastor burrito plate is my favorite.
