We flew in from PNW and we're hungry. It was great to find a place near the hotel that was open. Google maps recommended us and we knew we found a good spot when we saw all the locals coming for a late night bite. We had the 4 taco plate were delighted with the carnitas and the pollo which were so delicious. It was nice the the staff came by to remind us there were 4 salsa options right at the table. I tried the hottest one and it was wonderfully spicy without overwhelming the meats. Would definitely go again if I'm in the Miami area. Didn't get a photo of the food as it was gone so fast. I got a Jamica tea and my friend the Horchata.
Hands down some of the best micheladas I’ve had. So refreshing and perfectly seasoned. The tacos were delicious and the guacamole was fresh. Great spot for dinner.
Located in a small strip mall on the corner of 69th Ave and W Flagler St, very little parking, a very cozy restaurant, all types of Tacos, very tasty , awesome Beef soup , Guacamole is very good as well , open late afternoon until early in the morning.
Great late night taco and Mexican food spot! I enjoyed all the different styles of tacos I tried.
Tacos were on point! They played salsa and bachata for my big group of 30 people. The shrimp ceviche was delicious too omg
Fantastic Mexican restaurant with a delightful ambiance and lively music! Google Maps led me to this gem, and I couldn't be happier. The atmosphere is vibrant, the service is excellent, and the music adds the perfect touch to the dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors in a lively setting!
Coming from Los Angeles where we have the best Mexican food, I was skeptical about eating Mexican food in Miami. But my friends who lived there said it’s the best Mexican food in town. So I decided to try it and they were right, this place is so good! First off, if you’re staying in South Beach, this place is far! It’s in Little Havana so be prepared to drive. Inside of the restaurant was like a loud fun party and our server was great! She didn’t speak much English but had someone come to us and explain everything if we didn’t understand. I came in a group of 4 and we ordered guacamole, 3 carne asada tacos combo, tacos pollo, taco camaron, taco fajita de res, burrito pollo, and ceviche de pescado. Everything was really good, but the guacamole was exceptional. If I’m ever in Miami on this side of town I will visit again, but it’s not worth driving 30 min from Sobe. Still very good!
If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine, Tacos El Carnal is the perfect destination. This charming restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a night out with friends or a family dinner. The menu is packed with delicious Mexican dishes, from tacos and enchiladas to fajitas and burritos. But what really sets Tacos El Carnal apart is the attention to detail and authenticity in every dish. The ingredients are always fresh and expertly prepared, resulting in bold and flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy. But the food is just one part of the experience at Tacos El Carnal. The restaurant is filled with colorful decor that creates a festive and lively atmosphere. And on Sundays, they have an authentic Mexican band playing music, adding to the already vibrant ambiance and making it the perfect destination for a fun-filled weekend outing. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. And with a wide selection of tequila and other Mexican drinks to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect pairing for your meal. Overall, I highly recommend Tacos El Carnal for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican dining experience. From the mouthwatering food to the lively atmosphere, it's the perfect destination for anyone who loves good food and a good time. So come on down, grab some tacos and enjoy the lively atmosphere while listening to the authentic Mexican music!
My friend has been trying to get me here for a while and he finally made it happen. We went on a late night run after some drinks and it didn't miss. Chips and guac were very fresh. I had the shrimp tacos which were good. Service was friendly and the late night atmosphere is what you would want if you're looking to keep the vibes going.
Food has never been a problem I’ve came here for years but they’ve always been very stingy with their Horchata. If you ask for no ice, you would think they’ll fill it up to the top. No, they’ll literally put it to where how much it should be with ice. whatever
The atmosphere was superb, but the tacos are amazing, can't go wrong with any types of meats.
Food was excellent! The lemonade was perfect. Can't wait to get back to this place.
Great food and service. Located on Flagler . If you want to eat a lot of tacos for a great price the. I recommend it
The food was very good. I ordered a variety of different Tacos to try out. I will speak on them as I felt they tasted. The tacos al pastor or my favorite by far, they were amazingly flavored and that sweet little bit of Pineapple made all the difference in this flavor. Next I'll speak on the carne asada tacos, they were not too bad but they were also not amazing. They seemed to be a little bit dry as far as the meat goes when I expected more of a juicy flavored meat. I also tried the fish taco and it was very good, they included a sliced avocado which made the creamy flavor that you're used to expecting from a fish taco pop all that much more. The chorizo tacos were also very good, I have had chorizo tacos and other restaurants and they are always extra greasy. The chorizo tacos here were very well cooked not overly greasy and had a nice spicy flavor. The chicken taco was very good as well and not a bad alternative for people that don't eat red meat. The last and final Taco was outside of what I would normally order, so I personally did not like it just because of the way that the texture was. The chicharron Taco is the one that I am referring to. And for the last two items of my review the horchata was amazing, it was very well made and didn't taste overly powdered like some other restaurants serve it. The guacamole style salsa that they gave me was delicious. The only downside of this restaurant is the fact that they are a cash-only establishment and they have very limited parking. Many people don't carry cash in this day and age, they do offer an ATM machine with a $2 fee, I would recommend you stop by your bank to avoid the $2 fee plus whatever fee your bank would normally charge. And if you have any questions regarding the cash app accepted sign that I took a picture of, that is if you wish to tip the server with cash app they would accept it. The cash up is not accepted as payment at this restaurant.
Love that this restaurant expanded. Have been a patron of this restaurant for over 13 years, been to all locations. Even though I moved out of state, whenever I am in Miami and in the mood for Mexican, I take the drive over. Some of our family favorites include : the pico mexicano picante, beans, tacos (all flavors), nachos, soups, any dinner entree really is delicious. The guacamole is creamy not chunky anymore. live music on Fridays & Saturdays from about 8pm to midnight. Service has gotten better as there is more staff now. Not Tex-Mex, this is an authentic Mexican cuisine establishment.
Food is always great at this place I make it my weekly dinner night with my wife service could always be better but all around great place . For me the mole burrito with chorizo is the best and the rib soup is to die for A++++++
