Quick pickup place for Persian kabob. But you have to order ahead because wait time is usually 30-60 mins.

Fantastic Persian takeout joint and an underrated Tysons gem for lunch or post-gym-and-office dinner in the evening. The food is reasonably priced, delicious, and comes in huge portions. What more do you want?

The food was excellent, highly recommend. Our server Mahmoud provided exceptional service, pleasant, polite and went the extra mile to give us everything we needed and more bread to go. You will not be dissapointed.

The food was great, and the man behind the counter gave me tea and extra bread on the house. I only wish there was a table to eat at inside!

This is a takeout shop that is owned by the famous Shamshiry restaurant across the street. Perfect place to pick up delicious Persian sandwiches made with fresh baked bread. You can also pick up catering orders such as a tray of the eggplant dip. You can ask them to create sandwich trays for your parties and cut them into smaller sizes for ease. I really like the mortadella and salad olivieh sandwiches! This place is a hidden gem!

Not surprisingly, this is the same food as Shamshiry just at a discounted price (conceivably because the Express restaurant doesn't have any seating inside so you have to take your food to go). If you're a professional kabob-eater like some of my friends claim to be, you may want to get a raw egg on the side (and add it to your rice right when your entree comes out, allowing the heat to cook the egg) which you really can't do at Shamshiry Express. I am also giving it 4 stars because although the food is comparable to Shamshiry, there have been two occasions (out of maybe 20 times that I've called, so not that often - just 10% in my experience) where the phone just rang and no one would pick up so I could place the to-go/carry-out order. In both these instances I ended up just placing the to-go order at the main restaurant which cost me a few dollars more but wasn't a big inconvenience since the restaurants are located within a half mile of one another on the same street.

I adore this establishment, primarily due to the delightful presence of Simon. His influence elevates the culinary experience to new heights.
