they have a nice space with some inside seating and a great little patio out front for additional seating. They also are super friendly with fantastic service. I wish the applause didn’t stop there, but sadly it does…or did for me. The pizza is lacking flavor, and for a thick square slice you need tasty dough. In a town that has more than a couple great Detroit style pizzerias, this one doesn’t hold its own to the competition.
One of the best pieces of pizza I've had in ages. Living in laurelhurst, there's so many top shelf pizza joints, this place blows them away. Their cheese pizza is one of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to order a whole pie in different combos for the next visit!
I have been all over the country and lived in Boston for years, and this is some of the best pizza I have encountered! The thick pan pizza was off the charts and reminded me of the pizza my 90 year old great Nana from Sicily made from scratch since I was a child…. AMAZING! Just the right dough, not too much sauce or cheese, and all the flavor. I can’t wait to come back for it!!!!
The BEST pizza in Portland. I’m from Boston so it took me quite a few misses to find this dream of a place Bull run is fantastic every single time. I’ve never liked those square slices before (always been a classic girl) but their square slices are TO DIE FOR. 11/10. Must try. Ranch is also SO GOOD
this family loves themself some good pizza and Bull Run Pizza Didnt dissapoint the 1st time we had just the pepperoni pizza with my cousins who were visting from Lodi CA they moved the pizza as much as we did. at 1st we tried to go to kens Artisans but that place was very busy this place was busy not super busy . like kens we were all glad we went to this spot instead. the wait was 30min at kens.we were looking over 1 hour waittime. this place was definitely in our top 5 pizza places we ever been to and.thats saying alot
One of my favorite pizza places ever, honestly. Thin crust, nice crispy edges, slightly blacken bottom, quality cheese (they sprinkle parmesan on top right before boxing up), and the small crispy pepperoni make it the best. Definitely recommend trying and the single slice thick crust is NOT a deep fry deep dish, they just proved it longer so it's air-y. Worth trying, but both are great! Inside the restaurant could be a bit more enticing to sit in, but outside has a few picnic benches! And plus, the staff are really nice and chill. They seem to be having a good time. Sorry my photos aren't great, I finish the pizza before I realize I should take photos lol Keep up the stellar work Bull Run! You deserve the 5-stars.
This is my favorite spot to pick up a pie to-go. Fast kind service. Great chewy but sour and crunchy crusty crust. Thick crust by the slice on weekends, (the photos I posted) that is fantastic. Both creative, and classic toppings to choose from. Last visit I overheard the owner praise one of his staff aloud. As someone who spent time working in restaurants this was nice to hear. Makes me even more eager to support good people making great pizza.
Visiting from New Orleans and found this place last minute. Street parking. Staff was friendly, food came out quickly & was delish. $34 for LG pep, 2 drinks & a beer, and a small Caesar. Their twist on the Caesar was soooo good. No complaints.
