It's a great pizzaria in a small rural town. Almost everything they serve is great.The only negative thing I can say is that the "steak" in there menu is actually just hot roast beef. It's not steak. But it's good enough that I will order the Philly pizza and sub again regardless.
Small town icon! Reliable and delicious shop to get your favorites! Chicken Gold pizza and taco pizza are must-trys. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. If you are traveling and want the best wings (to which you will compare all others) the Frewsburger will set the standard. If pizza is your goal, the cup & char pepperoni is a regional treasure that is rare to find outside of the area.
Definitely a nice place to stop for food pizza and wings. Super busy on a Saturday with walk-ins and call-ins but theybwere busting it out! We waited about 15 minutes for dine in.
First time we have tried Frewsburger having driven past it on our journeys many times and always saying we should try it sometimes. We weren't disappointed, the portions were generous and the food was delicious.
All their food is absolutely delicious!!!! We have drove there twice now from over half an hour away and everything is amazing!!!
All locals know this place and they know they know their locals. If you are from out of town, stop here. Starting with slices at lunch, including cupped pepperoni that get a nice char, there is a solid range of pizza shop standards where the pizza ovens work tirelessly. From pizza, sandwiches, Stromboli, and wings, they twist the normal pizza shop menu with "fat bellie" sandwiches, which use pizza dough instead of bread. They have the normal regional sides like pizza logs, but throw in curves with sidewinder fries and a jumbo pretzel.
Went in late but they were very accommodating. Food was good. Didnt expect it to be that big.. fine job guys..
Good pizza and wings. Gold Rush pizza is really good. The regular red sauce is very sweet.
