This is the best pizza I’ve had since moving to CLT by far. Prices are good. Won’t be going anywhere else!
Excellent Pizza. Call in and pick it up. Don't miss out on this pizza that is cooked to perfection and not greasy. Plenty of toppings for the pizzas including green olives. Give New York Pizza Express a try for your next pizza order.
This is what you call pizza! Amazing customer service and very nice family. Me and my family moved close and we’ve been here 2x in one week. My sister 2x this week as well. Delicious pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs are great. This place is a Gem!!!!! No where can I order (4) 10” personal pizzas with 5 drinks and spaghetti and meatballs for $33! Lunch specials are really specials!
The place looks a little run down and could use some updates, but don’t let that fool you — the pizza is absolutely amazing! The crust is perfectly cooked, the sauce has great flavor, and the toppings taste fresh. You can tell they really know how to make a good pizza. It might not look fancy from the outside, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after great pizza and don’t mind a spot that’s a little rough around the edges.
Honestly the best pizza around. Crunchy crust, non-greasy (idk how they manage that but it’s amazing), quick, and delicious. The buffalo chicken is our favorite and by far the best buffalo chicken pizza we’ve had! Don’t judge a book by its cover, this place is awesome.
Tried for the first time today and this is my new favorite pizza place around. Reminds me of when I lived up north which is rare around here. Great pizza, reasonable prices, and the salad was great too. Will be my new go-to.
I’ve been searching for pizza baked like the pizza I grew up eating in Western NY my entire adult life. Then I found NY Pizza Express and it is absolutely the finest pizza I have had in decades of living in NC. They serve the best Italian food in the Carolinas hands down! Fantastic , and atmosphere.
Reminds me of pizzerias from back in NJ. No frills, if you're looking for fad toppings (figs, caviar, buffalo chicken, cheese steak....ECT) this isn't the place for you (although they do have a Hawaiian pie). But if you're in the mood for traditional NY style pies, give them a shot, you won't be disappointed. We got a plain pie and a white w/spinach, both delicious, we'll definitely be back.
