This has become my new breakfast spot when I’m in town for an appointment. Was there last on a Monday morning and the place was PACKED. It definitely seems to be a favorite breakfast spot with the locals. It was an older crowd in there for sure. That’s usually a good sign in my eyes. I’ve had the herbi beagle and the lox one. The lox was definitely my favorite. Their donuts looked amazing! I’m definitely going to have to try one next time. The service is fast and friendly. You place your order and go sit down. They will bring it to you. The interior could use an update, but I don’t think it’s necessary. I would rather sit at a worn table, then pay $2 more for my meal.
I ordered dinner two hours in advance to pick up a quick dinner after kids practices. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told it would be another 10 minutes. 15 minutes later, we got our food. The employee seemed nice and the food was good, the wait just wasn’t ideal.
I ordered online, an employee called me within 2 minutes of submitting my order to inform me one item wasn't available and kindly offered to make something of similar price. He was very nice, manners and gave me a couple of suggestions. Ready at pickup and so convenient having a drive thru and again, a tall man with genuine mannerisms helped me. Thank you. We had white pizza, add mushrooms and chicken, no tomatoes, cheese pizza, and cheesy sticks! Really good! Thank you for helping a tired Mom out and not making me feel like a burden, it matters!
If you're looking for quality pizza, with fresh ingredients, check out Pizagel's. The food was great and the employees were kind and accommodating. Thank you Pizagel's for a great dining experience!
Its cool I can finally get delivery. But considering its Door Dash delivering some tamper proof stickers on the pizza boxes and STYROFOAM containers would be nice for piece or mind. Not all door dashers are trustworthy.
Their pastries are extremely good. They have a variety of bread, cinnamon rolls, cronuts, muffins and scones. The cinnamon & smores cronuts were fluffy, light and not overly sweet. Their coffee is fresh and hot. The exterior of the building and the parking lot is rough around the edges but Pizagels has been a Topeka landmark for a long time. They serve a Thai chicken pizza that I recommend completely for spiciness. The ratio of meat to vegetables is on target. I always leaving with a mental note of what pastries or sandwiches I have to try on a subsequent visit. The employees handle the drive thru window and the inside diners with attentiveness and care.
For a Saturday afternoon it wasn't very busy. The staff was polite, the dining area was clean I ordered the Croissant club sandwich wasn't bad would like to go back and try their pizza. Definitely family oriented. And wheelchair accessible.
I've been searching for the best pizza in Topeka, and haven't found anything that tops Pizagel's. I can tell they take pride in their quality of food and love the wide variety of items available. You'll find everything from breakfast to dinner here. I'm excited to try everything on the menu, but can, already, vouch for the yummy pizza and blueberry scones. I'd, highly, recommend Pizagel's!
