Excellent Eastern European food. Tastes like home cooked meal. It looks classy, cozy and yet casual. Perfect for catching up with friends, or eating out with your wife.
I’ve been a regular at this café-restaurant for over 20 years, and it’s still one of my favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The menu features delicious Slavic cuisine, with a strong focus on traditional Ukrainian and Polish dishes. Every meal I’ve had here has been fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel at home. Whether you’re looking to enjoy comfort food or try something new, I highly recommend this place!
Everything is fantastic. Cabbage roles great, slaw, beets, pickles, schnitzel, potato. 10/10.
Cute little restaurant/cafe that serves food from the hot table at the front. We walked by here many times and were glad we finally stopped for food. We ordered the pork schnitzel and were so lucky that it was fresh from the kitchen. The portions were big and we were nice and full by the end. I wouldn’t say anything wow-ed me about the schnitzel but it was great comfort food, crispy, and was delicious with the potatoes and dumplings. I would love to eat here in the winter, and will most likely want to try out their stews which looked really good.
Came in with a large group a few days ago. Food was fresh, very tasty and there was a lot of variety. Loved the fried fish, salads and snitzel. Cozy atmosphere and it was busy around dinner time. The owner Jessica is a sweetheart and a great host. She patiently explained each item to us. I would definitely eat here again.
We had the most wonderful experience for an early dinner. Of course we started out with plumb pálinka and then another shot in between courses. We had the Lángos, Bean soup, Fried Cheese, Brassoi, káposztás pörkölt nokedlival, and finished with szilvás gomboc. Highly recommend this place, wait staff was extra nice and very attentive. Hope to see you again one day!!
Very nice restaurant. Pleasant interior design and overall layout. Really liked the Christmas decorations. Meals are buffet style, served fresh to table or to go. Staff is very prompt and kind. The food was great, serving sizes are large and all at very reasonable prices.
First time to go to this place that serves Polish food. Inside it is cafeteria setup so food choices are selected from the counter and after paying, the food can be taken to the tables to eat. We ordered cabbage roll with carrot salad, fish with coleslaw, beef stew with potatoes. Food is so delicious and price is very reasonable. It gets to be busy with a lineup of people and that's when you know that the food is really good. I will surely go back to this place, the food is like homestyle cooking. I can't wait to try other dishes.
