We ended up at Midori Ramen on a busy night and somehow lucked out with a table for four, because this place fills up fast and getting seats together felt like winning a mini lottery. Once we settled in, things kicked off strong with the appetizers. The chicken karaage and chicken gyoza were both excellent. They don’t have a ton of vegetarian options, but the tofu nuggets surprised us in the best way, way better than we expected. For ramen, the Signature Tori Paitan was the clear winner: rich, flavourful, and exactly what you want on a cold day. The truffle ramen didn’t really land for us, a bit on the bland side. The Spicy Tan Tan doesn’t come with spice-level options, so we asked for spicy paste on the side and it made a big difference. We also tried the Red Spicy Vegetarian ramen, which was perfectly balanced and genuinely delicious. Service was great too. Our server was amazing, constantly moving, super attentive, and somehow keeping everyone happy on a packed night.

Ramen-licious and Ridiculously Good We hit up Midori for the ramen-licious menu, and honestly… I think my taste buds ascended. Tori Chintan Ramen – Clean, soothing, and beautifully balanced. Basically the spa day of ramen bowls. Surf & Turf Ramen – A whole flavour adventure. Every slurp felt like a plot twist in a very delicious drama. Takoyaki – Crispy outside, molten inside. Aka: “careful or you’ll burn your mouth but it’s worth it.” Duck Appetizer – Silky, tender, and way fancier than I deserve on a random weeknight. The Chicken – Okay, listen. This chicken was so friggin’ soft and tender it should come with a warning label. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly balanced, and absolutely deserving of its title as Toronto’s Creamiest Chicken. I didn’t even know chicken could be creamy, but here we are. Service was quick, the vibes were cozy, and everything arrived piping hot. Midori absolutely lives up to the hype — this place remains undefeated.

Midori’s Ramen’s are flavourful, delicious and so damn filling. Go for any kind of meat and any spice level, you are sure to savour it at all levels. The pricing and the quantity does the perfect justice. It’s small quaint place on the bus North York street serving some scrumptous dishes.

Weather is getting cold and we had to try Midori Ramen in North York and had such a satisfying meal! We ordered ramen, gyoza, and chicken karaage, and everything was on point. The ramen had a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles — comforting and delicious. The gyoza were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, a perfect little appetizer. And the chicken karaage was golden, crunchy, and so tender, with just the right seasoning. The restaurant itself is casual and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. If you’re in North York and craving hearty Japanese comfort food, Midori Ramen is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back to try more of their menu soon!

I found this lunch combo option pretty cool. The red spicy Ramen was great—you can choose what kind of noodles you want and how spicy you want it. The broth was tasty, not too salty or watery, but I feel like it could be a bit more flavorful. I liked that the Ramen comes with both chicken and pork chashu. The chicken gyoza was super delicious and had that nice crispy fry going on. I was a bit unsure about corn in my ramen, but it actually worked out well. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

? – ? ! We tried both and honestly… they’re equally good. The Tori Chintan feels like the coziest winter hug. It's light, soothing, and comforting with their famous creamiest chicken. But the Surf & Turf was my favorite. It has deeper flavour, richer lobster broth. If you enjoy a ramen with thin broth, Midori does it well. Try both bowls, cast your vote.

I had a fantastic meal here! The ramen was rich and flavorful—the broth was creamy and well-balanced, the soft-boiled eggs were perfectly cooked with gooey yolks, and the toppings were fresh and generous. The fried chicken side was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, a perfect complement to the ramen. The presentation was beautiful, and the portion size was very satisfying. Service was quick and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re craving authentic, hearty ramen with great sides.

One of the best ramen and takoyaki that I have tried. The service - top notch. At first I was greeted by one of the staff, seated and given water. She was very helpful since I wasn't farmiloar and also patient explaining the menu. The food was made fast and the atmosphere felt lovely. Good music choice and authentic dining with bonsai trees was a good addition. Hope everyone will have the same wonderful experience and enjoy it as much as I did! ;)
