Back again! Doin it and doin it and doin it well . Another visit here while visiting and the food is still great. The young lady at the front was pleasant and friendly- great food suggestions. This time we had strawberry stuffed waffles, seafood grits, BJ Hash . Everything was great - come hungry with a side of Patience and its bound to be a great experience. Not sure if the coffee has changed or if the hazelnut creamer just went better with it - but definitely better than last time.

This place is a true hidden jem. Great food,hospitality and atmosphere Highly recommend. Did I mention that they make their own jams ,delicious. If you visit Lake Charles Texas checkout days and times when open, it is worth the trip.

Hidden gem!! Perfect mom & pop restruant!! Lovely waitress. We went for breakfast. Food was fantastic!! Be advised... get there early. The place fills up fast. Also, with the restruant being a mom & pop restruant, there is a bit of a wait for your food. But, the wait is so worth it!!

Food was great, cute and comfy mom and pop place! Waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed, but she did her best to keep up. We ordered the sloppy has and shrimp and grits (no veggies)

This restaurant has some of the best breakfast food I've ever eaten. I love every aspect about this restaurant. The service was great and the food was amazing! My food was hot and fresh and made perfect. The chicken was very juicy and crispy, the eggs were on point and the biscuits were homemade and were some of the best biscuits I've ever had. They serve various amounts of different jams with your food, and you can even buy some for yourself to take home. The one that was served with my food was either a cherry or strawberry, but it made by biscuits taste like a cupcake! It was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more things.

We came to LA to gamble and ate dinner at the casino, same stuff we get in Houston. For Breakfast we decided we wanted to eat something local and decided to check this place out on the way out of town. I'M GLAD WE DID! Small hole in the wall spot with a full parking lot. We were greatest as we walked in and seated promptly. The waitress gave suggestions (which my wife took). She had the bacon stuffed french toast and said it was "life-changing". I had HANDS DOWN the BEST Shrimp and grits I've ever eaten. If you want good food this is your spot. Lake Charles is lucky to have this place. My wife and I are going make the 2 1/2hr drive at some point just for breakfast! It was that good! By far the highlight of our visit to Lake Charles was finding this joint.

The food is absolutely amazing, service is excellent. We actually bought homemade jam from them that was the best I’ve ever tasted!!!!! Fave spot in lake Charles! And, we are vegetarian and the owner was INCREDIBLE AT ACCOMMODATING!!!!!!!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone!!!! It’s an actual godsend for vegetarians in this area!!!!

First off - I have worked in Lake Charles three times now. Never could find good breakfast till now. Secondly - Their menu is extremely unique. The guy who owns it clearly understands flavors and how to intermingle them. It's just a typical hole-in-the-wall diner till you eat the food. It's amazing. You won't find half the items on the menu anywhere else. If you're thinking of trying this place then absolutely try it. It's delicious and the people working there are very friendly.
