First time eating here and it was astounding! The food was delicious! Strongly suggest ordering the pineapple fried rice, it was the BEST fried rice I've ever had. And the service was amazing! She was so sweet and easy to talk too, Congratulated me on graduating and gave us a free appetizer! The prices where very good for the portion sizes!
I loved Samsara! I was only able to dine here a few times because I was at Interlochen for the season, but their Thai food was incredible. After traveling to Thailand, my standards were high, but Samsara more than exceeded them! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. The staff was so kind as well.
This husband and wife and their doll face little girl went above and beyond with customer service! They opened their closed doors and made us some of the best food ever. PudSeeU/PadThai/cream cheese wontons/thomkachicken ALSO gave us a sample plate of LAAB while we waited for our order! I’ve never had a better over all experience from the walk in the door to the walking out. Customer service is a 10/10 Food is a 10/10! It was fast it was friendly and we were fulfilled. I’ll be back at least 2-3 times a week! Never driving in town again for some Asian style cuisine when it’s right around the corner from us too! Doesn’t get better than this place. **Extra points for the note left on our takeout box**
We absolutely love this little restaurant. Small family owned restaurant. The pad Thai both times we’ve been here has been excellent. My wife had peanut curry noodles tonight and loved them. The service has always been excellent and fast even though the sign on the door warns that you need to have patience if you eat there. We visit Traverse City for about two weeks each year and this is a Go To restaurant for us.
The food and service was top tier! The food was spectacular!! We will definitely be stopping by every time we come to Mi
I love this place! I've only ever done takeout and everything I've had has been delicious. And the portions are large so I usually have leftovers for lunch the next day. Most of the menu is gluten free as well, which is awesome. Shout-out to Sam for always answering all my menu questions and for marking a menu for me to keep that shows what I can and cannot have. She is so kind and helpful! Great job, 10/10 recommend! I love the padseeyou, drunken noodles, and pad Thai!
Delicious food. Haven’t had a dish I haven’t enjoyed - the rolls, curry, satay, are second to none.
We’ve looked high and low for a genuine Thai restaurant since we moved up north, and finally we’ve found it! The food is superb. Everything starts out mild and they can add spice if you want it (always easier to add it - can’t take it away!) The fresh rolls were exactly that. The peanut sauce was mildly spicy, a little thin. The fried tofu was the best we’ve ever had. You can add whatever protein you want to your main dish. The Pad Thai was fantastic. I’ve never had a better Pad Thai sauce. It’s a family owned and operated restaurant. The waitress was also the owner, along with her husband, who was cooking in back. They make truly authentic food using recipes from both of their mothers! The staff was accommodating and informative. The dine-in area was small but comfortable. They do a brisk take-out business - clearly all the locals know about this place! I love that it wasn’t downtown (where all the tourists are…) Parking was easy. We will definitely be back every time we come to town!
