Meat lovers eatery , a definite must if you want a decent selection of beef, pork, etc. Service is a bit rushed, but quality foods and consistency make up for it.

Don't expect flowers and silver service. Do expect charming wait staff, salt of the earth type, who know their menu and product, and meat. Just basically meat - and really good cuts, cooked just right over wood. My new guilty pleasure - papas arugadas con mojo. Literally just whole, un-skinned, small potatoes cooked in salt water (traditionally that would be a bucket of sea water), on the wood stove, then served with a pot of mojo picón (olive oil, garlic, coriander, paprika, cumin and other spices) With a smokey taste about them, I have no idea if this is the right way, but I just bashed them with my fist, poured on some mojo picon and chowed down. Yum, yum The setting is like a school lunch room, but outdoors and with 100% better atmosphere

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Spain since 2011 and still going strong. Been coming here for years and this place has the best steaks and meat on the the grill you will ever have in your life. I recommend El Secreto and Solomillo. The papas arrugadas are also a highlight of this place and a must have. Trust me this is a gem within locals but its legendary tales of the amazing food only a few know. Its famous within the locals and Spanish and people from Portugal cross the border for a great meal.

Fabulous grilled meats in a typical rustic Spanish restaurant. The Argentine steak was a tender as anything . Reasonably priced for the quality.

What a fantastic place for carnivores. Simply excellent meat, awesome potatoes with a marinade of spices and hot oil. The full size side salad is so big, I doubt two people can finish it. The pic shows the half-size portion of young potatoes. And they were divine. The beef was just perfect (do order medium well if you prefer to be on the safe side). The place gets extremely busy on a Sunday right about 1.30 pm, so come early. And be prepared: the locals are very distinctly not a quiet bunch, making themselves heard screaming at the top of their lungs. I greatly enjoyed the place - and will return.
