Florinda’s is pure magic — the pizza is a crispy, cheesy masterpiece that could make your grandma weep tears of joy. The pasta? Like little hugs from Italy itself. Cozy vibes, amazing staff, and flavors so fabulous they deserve their own reality show. Five stars, a glitter cannon of Parmesan, and my eternal devotion.
Florinda's is amazing every time we go. The service is always spot on. Their food is authentic and you can taste the love in every bite. I recently was made aware that they offer Sicilian pizza which is their Chicago deep dish. Incredible! I will have leftovers for a day or two because the 12" meat lovers pie was huge!
If I could I would give this place 6 stars. Wow, I mean just wow. Me and my girlfriend just went here for valentines day and I had the chicken and fettuccine Alfredo. I love myself some Alfredo so I've had many different places, but this was easily the best. Everything about it was just so good, same with the garlic bread. You can tell everything here was homemade, even the tea i had that was real brewed and not just some pre packed stuff that's always 4 times to sweet. And the service was awesome, it was quick even tho it was busy, all of them were kind and professional yet not strict. And the atmosphere was great, I loved the lights and just how the place felt. I truly just found the best place in Illinois
The seafood cannelloni and Cesar salad were to die for! My boyfriend and I had to take a long walk after to dodge the food coma, but good lord that food was tasty! The service was also phenomenal.
This place is absolute gem! We ordered one thin crust John’s favorite pizza, one Sicilian style stuffed crust pepperoni pizza, and the baked spaghetti. Everything was so beyond our expectations. We loved it so much we decided to have them cater our upcoming baby shower. Highly recommend, worth making a drive to give this place a try, you’ll be coming back for more!
It's been remodeled since the photos in the review. It's much nicer and food is all fresh and made to order.
Best cannelloni ever! The meat and fresh basil combo stuffed in the shell tasted so fresh and light! The atmosphere felt like a classic Italian kitchen where everyone comes together to share good company and good food. Will definitely go back!
When you find yourself in Taylorville this is a have to stop and eat place. The owner waited on use. We stayed to have supper and got a stuffed deep dish to go. The dessert I had was a gelato bomb. Three kinds of gelato covered in a chocolate hard-shell.
