Fran's has the best catfish around! My children love it. The atmosphere is casual. The prices are reasonable. If you plan to go on a Friday night get there early to get a seat. They also serve burgers,hoagies and hotdogs.
I love this place, very well rounded owner and workers, food is great and great prices.
Love to go to Fran's on Thursday or Friday for catfish. They make the best catfish fillets anywhere. They're always piping hot when they are served to you as they were made especially for you. Kind of a HomeTown little place and once they get to know you you belong to. If you love catfish this place is a must.
Aug 29, 2024- Went there today for the 1st time for lunch on a recommendation by my brother. MAN, he was right! Food was good, and the service was great as well. I will definitely be going back soon. It's always good to find and eat in local restaurants, especially when the food and the service match. Thanks again Fran's, see you soon .
Im from the holler a few miles south of this place and the smell made me hop out of bed and walk there. I tried the fish and dang rat tootin I spend a dollar on my lunch for a week but that week that lunch have my best lunch. Ill be back for smells of glory.

1st time being there amazing place. Maps was slow so passed by it the first time but great food. Got the steak and cheese half sub with just mayo and lettuce. The fries were crispy too. I'm going to try out the ham and cheese next.
