Guru’S Indian Hakka Cuisine..

We did takeout from here a couple of times during the COVID period and really loved the food. Today we decided to dine in and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing and made exactly to our specifications. We asked for mild spice for one dish ( veg fried rice) for our kid and it was just the perfect amount of spice. Even with the mild spice level it was very flavorful. We also ordered mushroom Manchurian, schezwan veg noodles and veg chow mein. All were delicious. The strawberry milkshake was a treat and I highly recommend trying it out. The portions are huge. The service was exceptional. The food arrived fast. Our hostess Raman checked on us multiple times to ensure we were happy with our food. All in all, Guru's provides an excellent dining experience.

It’s become slightly difficult to find a good Hakka restaurant and I am shy of eating at an indian Hakka joint. Indian tastes do not go well with Hakka food. Very self defeating! But was surprised that the food at Gurus kept to the original taste. For once hit the correct Cantonese Chow mein , the mushrooms and the Manchurian brinjals were great too. The fried rice was good to taste but was put off by the red coloring. Definitely worth more visits

I recently visited Guru’s Chinese, and I had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The portions were generous, and everything tasted well-balanced — not too oily or too salty, just perfect. Our server, Jashan, was excellent. He was polite, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. He checked in at the right times without being intrusive and had a very friendly attitude. Overall, great food and outstanding service. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to others!

I had a great experience at Gurus Indian Hakka Cuisine. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Hakka dishes had an authentic taste with the right balance of spices. Good people, good service & good food! Been coming here for about 11 years+. This place feels like a family joint now. Food is so good, but sometimes lacks Consistency whenever there is a cook swap. However, Not Once I had trouble when asked to change/replace the food if it wasn't upto par or wanted the cook to make adjustments. Service is good as the young girls are always working ever so hard to care for the customer's needs. Please try to be a little more attentive though because the Entrance door is a little out of view so guests sometimes stay standing, waiting to be seated. Not a big problem but could be better. Years ago, I liked when the owner(s) used to take a walk near the tables, interacting with guests & even helping out in kitchen! Uncle used to do that. God bless him. Just a perfect family business. Always felt welcome here, never had a negative experience. I hope it stays this way.

Best Indo-Chinese you can have anywhere in GTA. Manchow veg soup, gobi 65 & there paneer dishes all are delicious. Their customer service is amazing too. They were swift and very clean restaurant. Tanisha and jashan served us today they were very sweet.

We had an amazing meal. Sonal was the best host we have ever had. She made amazing suggestions on the menu and curated a delicious meal . She was patient with our questions, cheerful and made the entire dining experience at Guru a unique incredibly memorable. My fiancé and I are from Africa and didn’t know much about this cuisine. Sonal introduced us to a whole new world of delicious food. Thank you Sonal! We will definitely come back and recommend Guru to our family and friends.

It's been 8yrs now we are coming to this hakka place. Visited last week, we were served by Tanisha. She made our dining experience outstanding with her polite & humble attitude. We would love to served by same server in near future.
