Iron Chef

Nice take out restaurant with good service. The food is always fresh and tasty. Love their General Tso Chicken and Dumplings!

-This place has the best pork lo mein i've ever tasted and its responsible for the star rating i give. If you like a dry lo mein, theirs isn't that, it's exactly the opposite and packed with an almost saucy lo mein flavor. Have had "takeout pork lo mein" in a handful of states from a few dozen restaurants and i'd personally put theirs at spot 1 out of all i've tried(maybe roughly 30 chinese takeout places tried atp). -Chicken on a stick was cooked perfect with a simple mild flavor that isn't overly glazed like some other places. Among my fav takeout chicken on a stick that i've tried. -Wonton soup broth was delicious, but the wontons were pretty meh. Kinda bland slightly tough meat and the wrap/skin felt slightly overthick. Were also massive and thusly hard to eat -Fried pork dumplings were meh -Shrimp roll + pork egg rolls were both rather lacking in meat and the ends were a tad overfried. *Edit: chicken and rice soup was pretty good and the chicken + broccoli was "decent"* Have never once had food from a chinese takeout place that can do more than a few things on their menu to my liking so we weren't too dissatisfied even considering the complaints.

We love this restaurant. They are always super quick and the food is flavorful. We used to go to a different Chinese restaurant but haven't went to that restaurant since we tried Iron Chef.

This is not a dine in. They have 1 table by the door and drinks are limited to water and coke. Food was good. We were passing thru, so would not make a detour to go back!

Iron Chef is by far the most authentic Chinese take out that I have found in Lexington. You can tell that the food served is prepared with care by wonderful chefs. Always flavored to perfection. They also have some of the kindest staff. Always polite and well mannered. Service was also very fast! You can definitely tell that they care about their customers. If you go try the Crab Rangoon! They are amazing!

After browsing the ratings I decided to give it a try. My food was really hot, and very good, not salty at all, good portions, and I will order from here again. The gentleman who answered the phone answered all my questions and was very kind and patient. That’s awesome because a lot of places will not take the time, they did! Great place. Excellent food. Very nice owners. This was our first time but definitely will not be our last. Would definitely recommend. Best Chinese food in the area by far.

Came across this place on my drive and got a lunch set. The food was amazing and would definitely come back again. Very affordable!

This was a pleasant surprise! Our first time ordering from Iron Chef. The food was fast and hot. The garlic shrimp was SO good. We enjoyed all of it.
