Great customer service, super friendly stuff, the lady on the cashier recommended charcoal chicken sandwiches, and tawook extra, had the chance to try them both!! The results are phenomenal i highly recommend these two sandwishes. Will definitely be back !
I have been regularly going to Kabob Inn for over 15 years and I've never been disappointed. The food is phenomenal, the service is excellent, and the staff is top notch. Kabob Inn has the best fattoush and chicken shawarma sandwiches in the Metro Detroit area. Kabob Inn will continue to be my go to spot for excellent arabic food.
Great experience midday during the afternoon. Definitely not too much and not too little. The food was good and the environment was chill for someone just picking up lunch. I could tell the cook cared about his prep and presentation.
This place is TOP TIER!!!! My first time coming here was at least 9 years ago and they still have the same GREAT QUALITY, FRESH FOOD!!! I often stop in to get there beet juice or carrot juice blends with my FRUIT COCKTAIL!!! (OTHER WORLDLY) You have got to try their FRESH fruit cocktail!!!! Its truly charged the way I look at a fruit cocktail. They have AMAZING FOOD & DRINKS, Definitely try this place!!!!!
Update #3 (I hope the final one) The restaurant contacted me about my review, and they expressed the desire to make things right. They have made some changes that have prompted me to alter my review. I received an apology, and I believe it to be genuine. Most importantly, I received an amazingly beautiful replacement salad!!! With the promise that it would not happen again. I purchase a lot of food here and pay a little more because of the quality. I hope that going forward that I will not have another experience like this one. Restaurants are not perfect; I just expect that they will correct mistakes that render your food inedible. Here's a new picture. But I'm only giving 4 stars because I did not get the feta cheese that I requested. I mistakenly confused the garlic paste for the cheese when I picked it up. Update.... Note the response from the owner. There is no offer to make a decent salad as compensation because of my negative experience TWICE. You can clearly see how awful it looked. Here is another picture. All I was offered was an opportunity to take more of my money. I live near Dearborn. There is no reason that I would pay for another salad at this place. If you want an overpriced fattoush salad with a very large amount of brown and white lettuce, and freezer burned cucumbers this is the place for you. And as an added bonus the staff people are condescending and rude when you have the nerve to complain. I called about the quality of the first salad and I was instructed to refrigerate it and return for a new one. (Telling me to put it in the refrigerator makes me worry that they will be reusing the ingredients in someone else's order.) When I did return, this picture is what I received. I also asked for a side order of shawarma chicken with the replaced salad, and I was told I had to pay for that. I knew that it was an additional item that I had to pay for, but where is the customer service? I think an offer to give me the chicken for free would have been a nice gesture, especially since I had to suffer the inconvenience and extra cost of returning it back to them. Because the quality of the food has gone down while the prices are continuing to rise, I will not be returning.
Food was decent but a little on the pricey side. They also don't do any special requests for a side. The garlic sauce and pickles are really good though. The restaurant was clean and restrooms were available. Not a lot of parking is available, but they do offer take out and to-go orders. Easy to find location right off the main road.
Kabob Inn is the source for terrific carry out when I’m in the area. Their clean, tidy to go orders have never failed me. I love their shawarmas, I feel they pack in the meat order, don’t skimp on the roll and are very nice. Depending on the time of day it can get slammed but usually in and out. This family owned joint is worth a stop in if you’re traveling down and around Telegraph and Joy.
Kabob Inn exceeded expectations with their flavorful and unique sandwiches. The charcoal chicken sandwich was outstanding. The addition of sumac elevated the flavor and aroma, making it truly memorable. The meat shawarma markouk sandwich was light, delicious, and perfectly spiced. The balance of flavors made it one of the best shawarmas I’ve had. The tawook extra was also a standout. The chicken dressed with zaatar on the outside, combined with garlic and oregano, created a unique and delicious twist. Overall, Kabob Inn delivers amazing quality, fresh ingredients, and creative flavor combinations. Highly recommended.
