What a great find. Had been here many moons ago. The food and service are both excellent. The chicken sandwich was massive, well cooked and delicious. Will definitely return soon.

As soon as I walked in the host was smiling and came right to me and ask where I would like to sit. Awesome! I didn't have to wait very long for the waitress either. Amazing people and great food. Loved the music too. Would definitely recommend.......

My husband and I went here 5 years ago, and then it was someplace we would not have go to again... We decided to give it another try after learning there was a new owner, and let me just say that IT HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED! The restaurant itself was still very inviting, atmosphere the same beautiful setting, the food however was something that we would definitely indulge in again! We'll worth the money! I had prime rib, and the flavor was the best I've ever had! The prime rib was tender and juicy, baked potato was soft and fluffy, the side salad was a generous size and delicious! My husband had the double bacon cheese burger, and let me just say, the hamburger patties were enormous! The portion sizes were definitely worth the prices! I'm glad we decided to go and try it again! I would definitely recommend anyone that is looking for a nice place to eat to make sure you go hungry, and know, even then you will probably be taking home extras! Thank you to the staff and owner for making our experience so enjoyable!

It’s outside of town but well worth the trip whether you’re coming from Dansville or Corning. It’s a really unique place with great food.

In town for the weekend and glad we found the Killbuck for Saturday night supper. The place was hopping at 6:30pm when we arrived, only two open tables. We sat at the bar and were well looked after. Had the baked fish and a pizza + dessert and lots of local suds and cocktails. Friendly staff & clientele, we are happy we found you. Highly recommended when in Canisteo and a short drive from Hornell.

Always feel like home @ the kill buck!! If your looking for the closest thing to "cheers" with a country twist... You're in the right place! Thursday night's I always go with wings!! Friday I always always go with shrimp Milano or baked crab stuffed haddock.. Saturday is a good night for burgers or app night!!! Sundays love to go to and pizza wings!!! It doesn't matter if you take advantage of the sun porch, the cabin cozy dining room or want to watch the game at the bar... Never a sad seat in the house!

Great food & great service. I wasn't there on a night they have live music but would love to go back when they do. Very enjoyable dinner.

Stopped in for the Saturday night Prime Rib. The owner was at the bar and taking care to sanitize and refresh the tables and people filled the allowable space. Nice dinner in a friendly atmosphere where I felt comfortable. Also had a shrimp cocktail and it was gorgeous and delicious!
