Went for an midafternoon lunch/dinner. It has a well-done standard pub atmosphere with hard rock that sometimes takes away the elegance a bit. Our server clearly loved food and making sure his guests enjoyed it. He made great recommendations and checked on us frequently. Our food was very good and prices were competitive. Lots of parking across the road in the skating rink/farmers market parking lot if you can't find any on the street.
After looking at South Havens art work located around the town and going on the beach for awhile I got hungry and found this place. Best restaurant out of all the restaurants I’ve eaten at in South Haven. The waitresses working Joi and Noelia were super friendly and nice. Noelia was our waitress and I haven’t had service as good as that in a long time. Drinks came out fast as well as the food so it was hot. She was attentive to our table and was just super sweet. The food we got that was awesome is beer battered cod with homemade tartar sauce and a house salad with ranch dressing, Philly classic steak Sandwich with fries, fried portobellos with ranch dressing for dipping. Everything was excellent and for the quality of food at a fair price. The establishment is cleanly it is smaller than some but if it gets busy I would definently recommend waiting for a table it’ll be worth the wait. They also have a full serving bar with tvs.
Had a phenomenal meal and service here. The chalkboard burger was insane. Blueberries, goat cheese, and a red onion marmalade. Loved it. We also had the rainbow trout spread app and the walleye fish and chips.
5/5 Stars – Incredible Burgers & Cozy Vibes! This place is amazing! The burgers are cooked perfectly and are absolutely full of taste. If you go, the French fries are a must-try—they were delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and the whole meal was priced very well for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Andy was the best, great food suggestions, and excellent service. The food was utterly delicious! Unique menu. You have to come here!
Kitchen 527 is downtown South Haven. It’s a cozy space with great food, atmosphere, and music! Our server was Alice, she was friendly. She refilled our drinks as needed and brought out our food exactly as we ordered. The quinoa sweet potato burger was delicious, the fries were seasoned perfectly and crispy. You can’t go wrong with the Philly and fries here either! They have fresh brewed ice tea and a full bar. Kid friendly atmosphere. Nice location near Lake Michigan and other shops.
South Haven has plenty of great restaurants but this is one of my favorites. While the food is the ideal reason for going to a restaurant, the laid back atmosphere, knowledgeable wait staff and fun music selection also keep me coming back for more. They always have an interesting "chalkboard" burger that never disappoints. The chicken sammich is my go to with jalapenos and pepper jack cheese. The BEST fries and my obsession HUSH PUPPIES! If you want fun food and drinks this is the place to go.
Met some friends here for dinner. We aren't in South Haven a lot and had never heard of this place, but our friends chose it. It was really good! Service was a little slow, but to be fair, it was only her third day on the job. I got the Philly and it was really good. They don't give you a ton of fries, but they were good. And I certainly don't need more fries. I was going to get the fried chicken but the waitress said it takes a half hour to prepare. And Neal didn't have a half hour because he's diabetic. Stupid Neal! Just kidding. And plus I got to eat the Philly. Neal the diabetic got a Po' Boy and he liked it a lot. My wife also got that but on a gluten free bun. And she likes here a lot too. Betsy got a burger but I forgot to ask what she thought of that.
