The poke I got from here was so flavorful! The small was a great size for me. The employees were very nice and answered my questions to the best of their ability. This restaurant offers outside seating in a beautiful plaza that has lots of koi! I got my first pieces of masubi here and it was fun to try so many flavors.

It’s inside Eaton Square in Waikiki, right in front of the big fish pond once you walk past the entrance. It’s next to a sandwich café (same owner). They close at 2 pm, for breakfast and lunch only. I grabbed a shrimp bento and tried the pork and egg musubi, which was incredible—not a standard musubi, but one with pork inside the rice and on top. The bentos are only around $9, which is an amazing value for Waikiki where prices like that are almost unheard of. They also offer made-to-order items like pork bowls, beef bowls, and poke. Everything was high quality, delicious, filling, and prepared by a friendly Japanese staff. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more, but the pork and egg musubi is a must. bring cash to avoid the credit card fee. Update. Beef bowl is made to order and is delicious. My favorite thing now.

Wow the rice IS good. This has got to be the best musubi/onigiri that comes pre-wrapped. I prefer the nori to be fresh and crispy when I eat my musubi so I tend to get the kind you have to wrap yourself. But I would defiantly come back here for musubis on-the-go (no time to self wrap)

We wanted Asian food for breakfast and googled this place. It’s hard to find because it’s tucked in a square. However it was worth it. The food is made fresh and replaced often due to the foot traffic. It taste amazing and the price is right. It’s not super pricey and it taste so good. It’s grab and go and there’s tables outside. Perfect to get picnic snacks.

This place is an amazing hidden gem. It really is hidden inside a little apartment complex/plaza. The staff was so friendly as I was the first person there when it opened. I ordered the spam, spam & egg, unagi & egg musubi, and also a few poke bowls. Everything I ate was amazing. They mill their own rice as well. I could smell the freshly cooked rice through my backpack when I was taking it back to my hotel. This is a perfect place for people to research and discover for themselves.

Update as of 2/2026: I’ve finally ordered bentos that were made to order: the beef bowl and the pork bowl. Both were well made and tasty. I also tried its plum onigiri that was a bit too sour for my bud. The outside seats were limited, but very comfortable in the shade and quite breezy. Updated as of 1/2026: we picked up a bunch of different onigiris (rice ball, the forerunner of spam masubi) for our visiting family members. We had garlic shrimp, tempura shrimp, chicken and of course, spam with egg. Everyone loved them and all agreed they were the best on the island. A bit pricy, but well with it. This is one of the real “hidden gems” in Waikiki. Original Review: We picked up 4 different bentos and each was well prepared and very tasty. I had the pork belly and it was one of the better pork belly dishes I’ve had.

This place is so cheap compared to the many restaurants near waikiki and the food is so good! The rice used in their food is from Japan and milled in the store. The way they cooked the rice and the way it tastes is much better than many of the other musubis I have tried in the area. I have tried their nori bento, a few different musubis, and an ahi poke bowl. They also have a salmon and ikura bowl that I want to go back and try. The bowls are made to order but they have some musubis and bentos already made if you are in a hurry. I also tried their yakisoba but wasn't a big fan of it. The rice dishes are their stand out products. This place seems to be pretty popular so selection for ready made items might be limited if you don't go early.

This place deserves 5 stars. They've probably gotten over $100 from me from the past week. l've been coming in here everyday for breakfast and the highlight is the pork kakuni & egg. Think of a braised taiwanese braised pork and a marinated egg ontop. They even stuff the masubi center with more meat! The pork melts in your mouth and you cant just eat one. I order 3 a day!! Service was amazing and always greets upon entry. Ambiance is welcoming a small area where there are trays of masubis and Bento boxes. Highly recommend for this is the best masubi place on the island.
