Oh my goodness! The food here is delicious! The goulash and the stuffed peppers are AMAZING! You have to try this homemade food made with love. I have to go back and try more of their offerings. Grab some for a dinner party. Your guests will love you! Yummy food and desserts. If you haven't tried Balkan Food you should. I plan to come back soon!!
Delicious food and really great atmosphere. Serbian people are always friendly and welcoming. Authentic Serbian food and place is very nice. Good music too
We got meat burek with very delicious yogurt. Then got a platter of ćevapčići with ajvar, kajmak, lepinje, and fries - it was top notch (we ordered more ćevapi, since they were so good). Loved the cabbage salad and hot and mild pickled peppers as well. Excellent cake and coffee to finish off a delicious meal. Between the two of us, we were stuffed. The food was so, so good! Thanks for the hospitality and the home cooked food. I will come again next time I am in Chicago.
Great home-made style of food. Make sure you try the soup first and finish with cake and cookies. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly owners.
Authentic and Delicious! Dukat is a cozy little spot with amazing Balkan food! Everything tastes homemade — the ćevapi, sarma, and fresh bread were outstanding. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels just like home. A true hidden gem!
I love everything about this place. I've only had a little bit of Serbian food in my life, but Dukat really opened my eyes to how wonderful it is. The food is warm, comforting, and just mind bogglingly delicious.
This place truly impressed me! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh and flavorful. And guys, they have real French fries—they make them from scratch, not frozen! The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was top-notch. The staff was professional, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience!
We got there late in the day & they were out of bureks, but they offered to make a fresh one for us. It might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. We got one meat and one feta & spinach. We will definitely be back. Incredible food & wonderful customer service.
