Absolutely recommend this place if you are looking for a chill place to sit while spending your day at the beach. There is good shade, nice food and very chill vibes (if you like to read your book for example while enjoying the scenery). Everyone that works there is very friendly, the food is amazing (worth trying the ceviche mixto, but also their tacos are very good). We spent our days in Mazunte there, as this place had everything we are looking for.

Loved it! Finally, great margaritas (limón, and Jamaica). We also shared an order of delicious fish tacos (we asked for a la plancha/grilled). Front seat for the ocean, and chill music from next door made this a wonderful late afternoon experience!

Nice friendly place with great views right on the beach. Both the ceviche and fish tacos were great.

Really nice seafood menu with many fish options. I had the tuna Japanese style which was delicious, guacamole was standard, shrimp tacos were yummy. On another night had mahi mahi ceviche, portion was huge but was much too acidic this time. Food generally good. Service was fine and served at good pace. Great they had white wine option and mojito was good. Prices as mentioned by someone else are a little higher due to location on beach but was ok. I would recommend for fresh Mexican seafood options. We ate here three times!

Normally, I don't trust sea side views restaurants as they tend to be tourist traps. This place has debunked that theory. La Tertulia might be the best place in the whole village. Incredible quality. Super fresh food. Amazing view. Really good service and fair pricing! The staff is the nicest. Get the shrimp taco's and get the tuna tartar!

Great ocean view location and great vibe. Food was decent and the drinks were very good. Staff are friendly and attentive. We stopped for drinks one night and came back for dinner the next night. Live DJ playing some good upbeat tunes. Vendors came around a few times as well as a cat and some dogs looking for scraps. All part of the scene and everyone was having a good time

Very deserving of it's high rating. We were the first ones at the restaurant, arriving before they actually opened. They told us they needed a few more minutes but were them extremely attentive all day. Literally, all day, as we stayed for lunch and dinner with plenty of cold beer between. Tuna roll was good as was the aguachile, though I had not previously had one with cooked shrimp. I prefer raw. Shrimp tacos were fantastic and we both liked the pineapple shrimp. The views at the topless beach were also... Entertaining.

Fantastic beach location with good food and drink. As can be expected, it's a little more pricey than venues off the beach. I'm happy to pay a little extra for the beach!
