A must stop for anyone traveling down 40 or loves burger/soda jerk history. Great combo of new and old. Food is fast and affordable!! Try the Harold’s hamburger!!! A bite of history.
Best food around. Reasonable prices A very exquisitely little Friend boy and he us very serious if he is there. I thought he was really a good boy. The employees are always Friendly. Chelsea and Waylon have a great restaurant in Lewisville.stop and visit and get something to eat.
Recently moved to town & love that this is a quick walk from my house. So far we we’ve had yummy burgers & shakes, a Wednesday special & grilled tenderloin. The owner is friendly and provides great service. The most unexpected places always have the best food. This would be easy to drive past & never know it’s there, but it’s worth the stop.
Absolutely love getting food here! I’m always greeted with a smile, and served hot & fresh food. The store has decor that is really cool to look at, also. 10/10 recommend.
One of best burgers served in a 50s style small and warm friendly burger stop. Great tenderloins and a great menu. Next time will dine in and sit at the counter on the old school stools. Plenty on the walls and inside to pass the time waiting for food. Which the wait time is not very long. Worth the drive from any where. Probably only seats a dozen or so. Not sure but just bring your wife and enjoy a real trip..
It is comforting to know that a place like this can thrive in a food world of corporate greed. The young lady who owns and runs this place is a delight and her respect for the history of the community is refreshing. Kudos to her and I hope she is around for a long time so my grandkids and their grandkids can experience quality food served fast and with a smile.
It was enjoyable talking to the owner of this General store. Milkshakes are served here, and it was really good. There are numerous food options. Understands this is not a give star restaurant. It is a General store where people may come pick up a few items and pick up something to eat. You guys are doing a great job. Keep doing what you are doing. Thanks
Stopped here on the way to Eldora Speedway in Ohio. Got there around lunch time (just in time to snag 2 barstools.) There is a booth & a handful of barstools at the counter. There was one person working and she did a fantastic job. Taking orders, cooking, pouring drinks, ringing people out. I opted for the big breaded tenderloin & onion rings and was pleased. Old school soda fountain where they add the syrup by spoon then use the soda water fountain. Milk shakes also available. Definitely small town USA and a great local business. I will be back here! Awesome place!
