do try this place if you happen to be in Taiping easy to find along the way from exit Changkat Jering to taiping town options for you to choose what dishes to put in the 'talam' (big tray)
Food is just nice, grilled fish is not tasty, price is slightly high.
its great if the owner friendly . the food was really good . im ordering set talam ikan keli bakar . with nasi campor ayam madu n nasi campor ikan goreng . only rm 45.00 include 1 jug of rose syrup and rice for 4 person . and another add on 1 jug sirap .
Great housemade food.. Came early as it will pack with people having lunch here.. Ikan bakar with petai is must go for delicious
Traditional Malay Cuisines can be found here.. Serve in 'talam' which is rare nowadays. Got different sets to be choosen. Price acceptable..

Friendly staff. The food is ok. I like their daging pekasam. Sambal belacan not so spicy. I think if get more spicy is better. Price is affordable
New Discovery in Taiping! This is literally a Rumah Makan (or Eat House) I didn't know what to expect at first. So we just stopped and got in. One of the staffs straight away came to our rescue. We were presented with 4 different Talam options. Each with TWO main dishes in the centre. All with the load of the same side dishes! We ended up with the Patin Tempoyak & Ayam Bakar as the main dishes. The side dishes are very nice complement. All you need to choose are the side dishes. You can also ask for a different combo. They will make it for you. So what if you want to add more along the way? Just add anything to your order!! A jug of iced Sirap is also provided. Free flow of plain water too! Other drinks are available as well. Price? Oh you'll love it. I won't spoil the surprise . Warning - don't order the Talam set if it's just the two of you! Unless you're really hungry. Service was very nice and friendly, and super fast! Best time is between 11am and 12pm so that you can park closer to the restaurant. I'll definitely come back if I'm the area next time. Go visit this very simple and traditional restaurant. It'll feel like you're going to a kenduri every time.
Tasty and delicious traditional food with village environment
Food taste good......nice for village style food lover .Can choose 5-6 type of set ( fish curry,asam pedas,masak Lemak).Stall just beside the main road from changkat jering to taiping.
