Excellent Mexican food with amazing service. The place was well decorated, with quick service and very nice servers. I didn’t catch our servers name, but even with minimal language, he hustled to make sure we made our appointment time right after dinner. I loved their street tacos, complimentary chips and salsa, and their taco salad was great. Their friend ice cream (despite not even being “fried” per se) was also pretty good with churros. Would definitely come back!
Nice place. Vast menu has great options. The food was very tasty. Complementary nachos were good and it comes with a salsa & a lime type of crema sauce.
Honestly the only reason I gave 4 stars was because the good was better than AVERAGE. There is NO parking. The outdoor seating is near a fishing spot where people were smoking. There is no good signage to direct where to go to be seated and several people looked at us and didn't offer to help. We finally asked where to go and were seated. The waitress approached our table and took a drink order right away but after 15 mins, another waitress came to our table and took our drink order again. We received drinks afterwards that clearly had been sitting for a while. I ordered a frozen pomegranate margarita that was liquid and my husband ordered a house margarita on the rocks that barely had any ice. The chips were stale and the salsa tasted like tomato paste. The white sauce was bland. I had the yolandas and my husband had the cheesesteak tacos. Both entrees were good. My husband and I travel often and love Mexican food, but even though the entrees were good, the other factors will not bring us back.
In this quaint mom-and-pop Mexican food gem, you'll find delicious hand-crafted meals at affordable prices. ( I got the shrimp and tongue tacos) Very clean, but what truly stands out is the warm, attentive customer service. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
Update October 1, 2024 - Still excellent! We received great service from Kevin. I’ve added a picture of our new favorite entree, Fajitas for two. Just an amazing meal. Excellent Mexican food! We drove over to Milton from Slaughter Beach. Excellent! When they’re cleaning the menus as you walk in it’s a good sign. The restaurant was and smelled clean. We had an amazing meal. Everything was prepared fresh and delicious. We had the Al Pastor taco platter, chicken and chorizo fajitas and the freshly prepared guacamole, the best we’ve ever had. Great service from Blanca! Highly recommend.
I love this place. Super nice people. Delicious food. Exactly what I’m looking for at a Mexican restaurant: mixture of “traditional” Mexican dishes and house specialties that show the talent of the chefs and owners.
Stopped by for lunch today. 2nd time here. Food is great. Good portions and friendly service. Some of the best margaritas I have ever had. Will definitely be back
Favorite place to go. Great margs, good chips & salsa and plenty of food options. Been my go-to place for years now. Always bring a crew and they are very accommodating.
