I my coworkers and myself found this place close by our work site and stopped in for supper. The food was delicious and authentic Cajun. We had the jambalaya, pork tenderloin and Blacken Chicken Caesar. If you looking for bold flavours and good food, I would definitely recommend it.
Popped in for lunch on a whim. Exceptionally well designed and furnished for a restaurant housed in an office building. Friendly service and flavorful food. High quality food and good value for your dollar.
I had an amazing dinner at The Cajun House in St. Albert! The vibe was warm and cozy—perfect for a relaxed night out. I ordered the Shrimp Creole, and it was packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. You can really tell the food is made with care, and everything tasted super fresh. My husband ordered the Chicken Po’ Boy, which is his favorite dish at his favorite place to eat! He loved it—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They made sure we had everything we needed and genuinely cared about our experience. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to find such authentic Southern flavors in St. Albert, but The Cajun House completely delivered. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes! Highly recommend this place if you’re craving something bold and delicious.
The food is amazing and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It's a bit pricy but it does lean towards fine dining and it is quality. Had a combo platter with a cup of soup and the portion size was generous
We had an amazing dinner with friends. The service was excellent. The food was better! The steak was done to perfection. The special was sea bass, soooooooo delicious. And don't forget the white chocolate filo wrapped cheesecake with raspberry coulis! It is made in house and it is to die for!!
This place is a St. Albert institution for a reason. It doesn't look like much from the outside (strip mall vibes), but the food is incredible. The jambalaya is legit. Service is always friendly and feels very 'homey.' It’s our go-to for anniversaries. Make a reservation though, it’s not huge and fills up fast on weekends.
When you want authentic Louisiana style food.. this is the place to go. The chef trained in Louisiana and brought with him some of the best dishes to St Albert. It's not like going to Taco Bell and thinking that's Mexican food!!! This is as real as it gets . And you can't beat it . We started with some crab cakes .. damn they're delicious. I had the combo of jambalaya, shrimp Creole , red beans and sausage... If you can't decide what to get.. try this .a little taste of everything. My friends had the pecan crusted chicken and it looked amazing.. We actually haven't been here in awhile and the food was always on point just like this time . The place really hasn't changed at all . . Why mess with a good thing . For me . A true test of cleanliness is the bathroom .. and it was spotless . Service was great and attentive. We didn't feel rushed or were an inconvenience. If you want to experience true Louisiana cooking.. go here .
