Friend had her birthday party here and we all had a great time. Our servers were great and warmly delivered everything we needed. The restaurant is beautiful and foods and drinks were delicious. I’ve been to this Edition Hotel many times. The smell is amazing and the best (btw you can buy the diffuser or reed or candles on their website). Love this magical and iconic place!
My partner and I ended up going to The Clocktower after seeing an Instagram video about the top new places to visit in New York City. We decided to go based purely on how stunning the restaurant looked, and I’m so glad we did. When I arrived, it was a total surprise to realize The Clocktower is actually the restaurant inside the world-famous EDITION Hotel in New York. The atmosphere felt incredibly “New Yorker” in the best way. It has a classic, old-fashioned vibe with beautiful portraits lining the walls, giving it a warm, sophisticated, timeless feel. The service was truly five stars. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We ordered several appetizers, main dishes, and desserts, and everything was delicious and notable. The halibut was honestly to die for, one of the best I’ve ever had. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the artichoke green sauce was next level. We also ordered the shepherd’s pie, which was rich, comforting, and extremely flavorful. For dessert, we tried multiple options, and the standout for me was the pudding. It was seriously really, really, really good. The drinks were excellent as well, perfectly crafted and very high quality. Overall, this was such a memorable experience. It’s one of those places I will absolutely come back to, and it’s also the kind of restaurant I’d bring friends visiting New York to impress them. Highly recommended.
The homemade bread was close to the best bread I’ve ever had. The chicken was so tender, moist, flavorful and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend stopping by this spot.
Food is AMAZING. The EDITION hotel food never fails. Had a business dinner here. It was a small restaurant, but they could accommodate us, a party of 7. Service was standard. No theatrics, nothing stupendous. Food was amazing. Best bread I’ve ever had - the thinnest crustiest chewiest bread! The scotch egg was to die for. I’d never had one before but I know that was the yummiest one in the world. Good, juicy burger. Hearty fries. Desserts were beautiful and light. Restaurant would NOT seat us even one minute before they opened at 5. We stood there waiting.
This is such a dope bar. The sticky toffee pudding is amazing. The baked Alaska is amazing. Love the desserts.
This bar is located on the second floor of the hotel. It’s really beautiful and chic inside. It’s dark and has pictures of famous artists throughout the rooms. We sat in the bar but I could tell the dining area was pretty with a fireplace and the other room had a pool table which is cool. The bar was nice and the bartender shared his favorite drinks with us. I had a cucumber drink and my friend had a passionfruit one which were both great. Overall I had a good time.
The Clocktower was one of thr best restaurants ive experienced in NYC. The food was spectacular; all of it. The Tandoori Chicken and Shepherd's PIe were stellar as well as the Tuna Carpaccio. The cocktails were unique and tasty and the service was great. I loved the atmosphere and ambiance but at some points it was far too loud. Overall an excellent experience and highly recommended.
Elegant Dining in a Timeless Setting I had the pleasure of dining at The Clocktower two weeks ago, located inside the beautiful Edition Hotel. This restaurant offers a perfect blend of historic charm and elevated British-American fare in a posh, club-like setting — complete with cozy dining rooms and even a lounge with a pool table. We started with their house-made sourdough bread, served warm and absolutely irresistible. I could have eaten the whole basket myself! For appetizers, we had the steak tartare and seared scallops. The tartare was fresh and flavorful, beautifully seasoned to highlight the quality of the beef. The scallops were perfectly seared — tender, fresh, and incredibly tasty. For the main course, we shared the Beef Wellington for two, and it was outstanding. The pastry was golden and flaky, the beef cooked to perfection — tender and flavorful with every bite. It truly lived up to the high expectations. The service and ambiance added to the experience — refined yet relaxed, perfect for a special night out. Highly recommend The Clocktower if you’re looking for a high-end dining experience with timeless elegance and top-tier food.
