The Sherwood Restaurant And Catering

First time here! And surprised they had a buffet, my kids were sooo happy! They enjoyed it and we enjoyed it as well! Very good !!

Excellent staff. We had the breakfast brunch. The eggs Benedict were very good. The homefriesare tasty also. Lots to choose from and the deserts were plentiful. Highly recommend as the quality of the food and the price can't be beat.

Awsome restaurant. We loved our food, prices where very good. Lots of seating. Has a nice classic diner feeling, tables where very clean. This will be somewhere we will always continue to eat. Its a must try.

"Never judge a book by its cover". If you judge this restaurant by the motel attached to it, you would never give it a chance. But I was in a store just up the road and asked the cashier where I could get a big full breakfast. I was a little apprehensive when they suggested this place, but hey "YOLO" I had the Friar Tuck breakfast, and I am pretty sure I waddled out like a duck when I left, because I was so full. The place definitely has a beautiful personality. While I don't plan on making a motel reservation anytime in the foreseeable future .. I will definitely be back for a Friar Tuck.

Absolutely amazing service I had Taylor today as my server around 6/6:30 pm and there was a female cook in the kitchen and a young boy from where I could see, Taylor was amazing the food was delicious I will absolutely come again every Wednesday to see her she was great!!

We eat at the Sherwood quite often, usually for the buffet. It is great food and the price is affordable. Taylor is a great server, she is friendly, knows her job, what we will be having and feels like a friend , Ramona is also a very good server. They sometimes seem very busy , as sometimes they get a lot of unexpected customers, don't know why there is not a hostess anymore. Some days they need one.

Always an incredible time at the Sherwood. We usually go for the buffet, But will also eat off the menu as well. The booths need some love, they are a little stiff. Otherwise fantastic service every time, and the food is incredible. Especially their Pollock and roasted potatoes!

I can not thank the Sherwood's Cooks, Servers, Hostess and the Owners as well enough for making my Father's 95th Birthday incredible, yesterday on May 7th/2025. The food we ordered was very hot when it was served! 5 stars for that alone as Dad does not like cold food. Was awesome. The Sherwood does not do cakes, I brought a Black Forest Cake (Dad's Favourite) in the day before. When the awesome Server brought the cake to us , they added candles (not 95 of course)& sang Happy Birthday. Afterwards, Dad said "the numbers are backwards" on the cake should have been 59 instead of 95! My oops. We laughed! I have been doing that for years turning the numbers around, or if they could not be turned around would add the two numbers up! Next year, I will make sure 69 is wrote on his cake! Will highly recommend the Sherwood to everyone who enjoys home-style cooking with very friendly service.

Delicious breakfast and such friendly staff. The food was cooked well and definitely one of the best breakfast platter I’ve had.

First visit on the recommendation of my significant other who recalled it being a good place decades ago. She was pleased to see that it still is a good place to dine. We had the perch buffet, which had plenty of simple dishes that were properly cooked and kept hot. Desserts were plentiful as well. The bread pudding was excellent. We will be back. Friday, Saturday and Sunday dinner buffets as well as Sunday brunch buffet.
