stay near rather elevator doors. The view from the restaurant is a spectacular view of Atlanta. Note the restaurant doe NOT spin. So, if you are up to enjoy the sunset at for dinner make sure they seat you on the west side otherwise you will not see it. We had the Southern Fried Calamari with Pickled Okra and cherry peppers. They were good. I then had the Seared Day Boat Scallops with Brussels and my partner had Pumpkin Ravioli. Both dishes were very good. The meal was good but at least double the price I have payed for similar dishes for the view.
Great time. We got a room and credit at the restaurant. Being on the 72nd floor over Atlanta is great. I had the two way chicken and my wife had the filet. Both were great. Would definitely recommend it for a date night or trip.
Great food! The fried calamari is a must-try if you enjoy seafood. Service is outstanding, and the drinks were great — the lemon drop is definitely a must-try! Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the rooftop bar on anniversary celebration!
So ok tricky, the food is incredible, and view is stunning. That being said I got a short rib from here and also a short rib from another restaurant 2 minutes away. I’d say both were equally as good! But one was 40 dollars while the one from here was 80. Don’t get me wrong the sundial provides an “elevated experience” (pun intended) but don’t get it twisted you are paying for the view that this place has and honestly that makes it worth it. But if your main goal is tasty food and you don’t care about anything else, there are definitely other options.
My son and I loved our dinner here. The staff was incredible and gracious, getting us whatever we needed. The view was great. I didn’t realize the restaurant didn’t rotate anymore, but we were able to walk around and see different parts of the town. It was a great evening.
This was my second visit to Sundial Restaurant in Atlanta, and once again, the experience was wonderful! The food is excellent—my steak was perfectly seasoned and flavorful, and the collard greens were outstanding. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. Dessert was a highlight—the coconut chocolate cake was delicious! It had just the right amount of chocolate, complemented beautifully by a tangy fruit puree that tasted like mango. It was the perfect finish to the meal. The only drawback was that the restaurant’s famous rotating feature, offering 360-degree views of Atlanta from 72 floors up, wasn’t operating during either of my visits. However, even without the rotation, the views were still absolutely breathtaking. Overall, I highly recommend Sundial for its fantastic food, exceptional service, and stunning city views.
The Sun Dial is such an elegant establishment to eat at. For starters, their valet parking is oh so very convenient, and the employees there are very kind and professional. The elevator ride is a statement moment you can’t forget to capture! The view of the city, both in there and in the restaurant, is breathtaking! Staff is so friendly and timely with their service. The food is worth the price. The atmosphere is elevated and upbeat. Everything about the dining experience is wonderful.
