The Sub Shop

The Sub Shop is hands down the best sandwich place in town. The price is good and the service is awesome. One guy takes the order while the guy in the back listens and the food almost comes out before you pay. The atomosphere is also really cool. It’s just a few tables with simple chairs but we love it. This is one of my families favorite places to eat. Both of my girls are in college and when I meet them for luch it is understood we are going to Sub Shop. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This was probably the best to-go sub I’ve ever had in Springfield. The quality was superb, excellent meats and fresh lettuce. The bread is super chewy and contains all the sandwich contents so well. Only complaint I have are the hours, but given their high quality that’s understandable! Great place!!

I LOOOVE the food here. Ethan, the owner, is so nice and a good friend to all, he used to run this shop all alone. He remembers your name and orders, it is just so fun to be there.

I had an amazing experience at the Sub Shop! My pizza sub on white bread was absolutely delicious, and it truly lived up to the place's main goal—satisfying taste buds. I grabbed a half-size to go, but honestly, next time I’ll order the large because I wanted more of that fantastic flavor. Also, if they offer combos with desserts, I definitely missed out on a cookie this time . Can't wait to indulge next visit!

This is my go to spot for lunch whether I’m at work or in between classes. This is by far the best, most fresh sandwich shop in the 417. The two gentlemen always strive to provide quality service and meals. Highly recommend you incorporate the Sub Shop into your lunch rotation. A true blessing.

My family lives in Springfield — and they ALL eat at the Sub Shop. When I drive in from Denver, my first stop for food is the Sub Shop where every single person knows my name, knows my son, my mom, my sister — AND THEIR ORDERS! It is one of my favorite places across the country, not just for the amazing bread baked every morning or the glorious array of sandwiches, but for the love and kindness every person working there shows me and my family. You simply must must must try it. You’ll be hooked.

I bought the chicken salad sandwich- it was delicious! It had chunks of pineapple and grapes to give it a sweet taste. All of the ingredients were fresh, and the bread was soft and delicious. Also, their chocolate chip cookies are on point. I’ll definitely go back again.
