Big Crab

After realizing many of the "boil" type places are takeout only, we settled on this establishment. It is in a strip mall setting so didn't know what to expect. Well any concerns we had were quickly set aside when the waitress came to our table. She was very attentive, answered questions readily and was quick to bring the cocktails and apps. My wife got a boil and I got raw oysters and several fried appetizers as my meal. Everything was cooked well and very yummy. The attention to us by our server was top notch also. We'll certainly be coming back!!

The best staff i ever dealt with! I had a wonderfull time ,good friends, great food & great service, prices was awesome! Looking forward to my next visit already!

The food and drinks were great! The dining experience/service was average. This is a rather popular restaurant which always seems full of hungry patrons. I'm not certain if the amount of customers caused a delay in service or if the server was a bit slow. (Server was extremely pleasant-but we had to seek her for multiple items which should have been either offered and/or for additional services) we were waiting for items to eat some food and 2nd round of drinks seemed to be forgotten until after she came back and realized drinks were not there... Our table was crowded with empty appetizer plates and empty glasses-we had the request for the items to be removed as the busser nor server offered to remove the items as we already we're eating the main meal and had new drinks. The table next to us experienced the same service, as we called for an individual to come assist, they would request services as well. Again, food and drinks were wonderful! I would certainly return, and recommend individuals to experience the delicious food beautifully prepared here. Food 5 of 5. Service 4 of 5.

Love Love Love... this place, food, service, atmosphere, quality and quantity! Located on The Westside at the end of Normandy blvd. If you love you some "Low Country Boil" in a steam bag, crab legs blue or snow, crawfish, shrimp, mussels, peel and eat shrimp, fried baskets, and they have stuff for the littles and land lovers too. The unsweet tea is very good. I get the Lowboil with Alaskan Snow crab, peel & eat shrimp, corn on cobb, red potato, and sausage with ALL the flavors mixed... I'm not a Heat / Fire Hot kinda girl, so I select the no heat, or mild! The Medium is hot to me but not to my hubby who always does the hottest heat, and it makes him sweat! The flavors hit on point sooo yummy, sooo good, and the prices are fair based on market price. Sometimes, I just get an appetizer or two, we love the fried mac and cheese, & corn nuggets. Cleanliness - Everything is served with disposable utensils, plates, cups & paper towels by the roll, which helps with germs. They provide disposable bibs, gloves, and even have a hand washing sink in the dining area for customer use to wash up before and after all the finger licking you will be doing... Don't even act like yall dont lick your fingers when they are covered in too much Yummy to waste on napkins. Noone who has ever eaten here will believe you, unless of course like me, you wear the gloves and yes, I wear the bib too... cause you never know which direction flying crab parts might come from )... a Must Try! Atmosphere, Rustic painted concrete floors, tons of seating. This place is not fancy white tablecloths, stemware, or fine dining, so you dont need to dress up, but please dress. The food is the star, delicious. Perfect for a shellfish or seafood place because the 'rustic' allows for heavy duty cleaning, which is absolutely necessary in a restaurant that serves shellfish. Just try it.

The good thing is that the servers are very friendly and really want to do a good job. Also the chicken wings we ordered as an appetizer came out after all other food and we were told they take the longest which sounds kind of bizarre. Speaking of long wait times, the mozzarella sticks appetizers never came at all. I don't think they take too kindly to to non-crab-based food orders. Anyway the food is quite good, when you can, get your hands on it. They were also out of a lot of things and it's pretty surprising for such a small menu. Another thing is that there are a lot of fees...even for takeout you have to pay a fee. There might even be a birthday fee which is usually the opposite approach that restaurants take. All in all it was a good time.

What an amazing night! Went for my anniversary dinner and it was my first time there. Amazing service, super on top of refills aswell as frequent check ups so I never had to go find my server or wait. There's a sink in the lobby which is super useful and well planned out! Asked my server what the house sauce tasted like and he immediately got me a sample without me even asking, which let me say was AMAZING. Went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we asked for and food came out quick with the crab crackers, a waste basket, bibs, and gloves. Asked for extra lemons with my crab at the beginning and he brought a whole bowl for me and my boyfriend. 10/10 review 100% worth the price. We both got the snowcrab bundle and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. The shrimp wasn't overcooked either!

Devin was awesome! Very attentive, friendly, and professional! The music was good. The food was slamming! I enjoyed everything! This was my third time dining in and like always, I had a pleasant dining experience. I would recommend anytime. The sauce for the seafood boils always has that extra kick. I'll be back again when I return from my vacation.

Everything was great. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioner wasn't working correctly. It was very warm inside. So we decided to take our food and go, other than that. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere.
