Dinky's Waterfront Restaurant

We ordered the Oven Roasted Sea Scallops as an appetizer. They were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. As for our main entrees we ordered a Seafood Platter (Fried) & Twin Tails with a side of Grilled Chicken breast. The Seafood Platter was decent but didn't have much flavor to the batter that they were fried in. The Twin Tails had a crispy Parmesan crust and the flavor of it was phenomenal. I do feel that the lobster was over cooked due to the fact it was rubbery and I had a chore cutting it with a butter knife. The vegetables didn't have much flavor to them at all and the side of chicken was dry. Our server was super nice and very attentive to keeping our drinks full and making sure we had everything we requested. We ended up being one of the last few people in the restaurant. I did not say anything about how I felt about the lobster being overcooked due to the fact they were trying to close down and head home for the night.

Their food is top notch. Pam was our server and she was amazing, attentive and so kind. We had the tuna tartare as a teaser/ appetizer, the thai shrimp and scallops, and the fried seafood platter. If you get a chance to visit this place, you won't regret it!!!

It's been almost 15 years since we first came to Dinky's, but I can honestly say they are still excellent at what they do! Our food was amazing, the waitress was friendly and so helpful accommodating dietary restrictions. Our entire 11 person party had zero complaints about the food. Tuna tartare app and bacon wrapped scallops were perfect to share between my husband and I. I got the grab cake dinner (single) and he had the red drum special which the chef knocked out of the park. Beautiful view of the sound while dining.

Very small, very old school, an very delicious, lil pricy, but it's fancy!! Dress nice and take your gal out to a nice dinner!!

The specials were amazing. I had the tuna med rare with tortellini. Took some home Pam our sever was wonderful. Lived ir!

FRESH SEAFOOD!!! ... expertly cooked, presented and served. The drinks were fantastic. Their key lime pie was the perfect finisher with a wonderful old fashion. No outdoor patio but a beautiful view of the harbour and sunset from a second floor bar and casual dining area. Thanks so much for a wonderful meal. Great service, great time.

was a good place to get some good seafood and some drinks the view of the sound was great and watching the boats come in and out during dinner was nice. service was fast and on top of it and the dessert was a good touch in the ned with there cheesecake specials.

Great restaurant with very good food! Bar staff was great! Could have used someone to help manage trash at bar area. Manager was also the head cook which is hard to do when your head is deep in filling food tickets! Otherwise, very very good food and service from staff! Must go if you’re in the area!!!!!
