Lake Jackson Seafood

Came here randomly and so glad we did. The interior is quite outdated and dim and needs an upgrade but the servers were friendly. Quite busy inside but lots of tables available for lunchtime on a weekday. Lunch Specials were great! I was so pleasantly surprised with the food. It felt abit longer for food to come out but it was so worth it because I could tell everything was made to order. The grilled codfish was delicious. The fried fish were also delicious and not dry. The soft shell crab was nice! Coleslaw was just okay! Fries and the hushpuppies were done well! Will definitely return!

I was craving seafood today and this really hit the spot. Everything was perfect, fresh, and delicious. Service was friendly. I was able to get the variety I wanted (crawfish etouffee, a couple grilled scallops, and the 4oz fried catfish fillet, it came with a side salad too). The perfect meal plus enough to take some home too.

We had a great experience at Lake Jackson Seafood Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We started our meal with the fried calamari, which was perfectly cooked and served with a delicious marinara sauce. For our main course, we had the grilled salmon and the shrimp scampi. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and were full of flavor. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He made sure that we had everything we needed and that our food was to our liking. He also gave us some great recommendations for other dishes on the menu.

I've been wanting to try this place for quite a while and my husband took me for our anniversary. The food was wonderful, we really enjoyed it. When they say jumbo shrimp they're not kidding. Fiona was our waitress. She was very nice but didn't really smile and although we didn't really need much she only checked on us as she delivered our food and when we needed our drink refilled we couldn't find her until she brought us the bill. Don't worry we will be returning for the wonderful food.

Amazing find as we were looking for a place to eat that was not a huge chain like Chili's or Applebee's. This place did not disappoint! Portions were huge and fresh and the service was great! We drove the 60 miles round trip just to see if it lived up to the previous reviews, we will definitely be returning customers! The scallops and shrimp were perfectly seasoned and the catfish fillet was tender and juicy. The calamari and onion rings were perfectly cooked and the prices were reasonable for the portions.

Always great food. Always great service. Atmosphere is not bad but makes you think low budget food, looks like an old Libya or cafeteria style seating. Definitely not the case. Don’t let the appearance fool you. It’s amazing.
