We always have the most fantastic dining experience when we eat here!!!! Absolutely love the Killer Shrimp. The sauce is simply amazing. Staff is so very friendly and service is great. Every dish we ever order melts in your mouth. Chef is amazing! This is such a great restaurant….. highly recommend as you will not be disappointed!

Really nice restaurant. All food is great. Would definitely recommend I had the shrimp with the curry and coconut. It was awesome. My husband had the triple tail. Loved it.

Tried the killer shrimp and it was definitely killer. Extremely flavorful broth, perfectly cooked shrimp, wonderful bread to soak it up. My only complaint was that there was no vegetables with the dish. I ordered a side of the mixed veggies and it was perfect. Had a great drink and the place is close to a fantastic pastry/gelato shop. From the outside I didn’t have high hopes but this places proves you don’t judge a book by its cover. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in FL.

Went for an early dinner. Ordered from the Bar Menu. Fish and Chips and Shrimp platter. Fish was good, very dense and not"wet". Fries were ok...not the best I have had but ok. Tarter sauce was really good. Clae was not mayo based it was vinegar based...surprisingly good. Shrimp was lightly battered no tails. Very good. The cost was $48. We will go again!

A hidden local gem We have visited this area of Florida many times from the UK and thought we had tried most restaurants however, yesterday evening, we discovered this gem of an establishment. Formerly known as Prime Time and slightly hidden from view at the back of a small group of stores is this unassuming restaurant. It appears to have plenty of outdoor seating available on a patio, however, we chose to eat inside. We chose to make a reservation although at the time we visited this did not appear to have been needed. We were shown to our table immediately upon arrival by the hostess and provided with menus and beverage lists. A comprehensive menu of appetisers, salads, entrees and specials. There was also a good selection of beers which included 12 on draft. Chloe, our waitress, arrived promptly to take our order and answer any questions that we had. We ordered corn bread with jalapeno butter and lavender honey dip - which was incredible, a large Caesar salad between us ( which the kitchen split on to 2 plates for us), followed by chicken scampi and killer shrimp entrees. All accompanied by a fresh orange juice and a draft orange blossom beer. Each course arrived quickly without being rushed and was well presented and was a good size portion without being excessive. The chicken scampi on angel hair pasta was delicious and the Thai style shrimp in coconut curry broth was amazing and completely unexpected. My husband’s favourite ethnic food is Thai and he was amazed at the quality of this dish and complimented the chef. Throughout the meal, Chloe was attentive, chatty, approachable and very personable and made us feel very welcome. We would certainly recommend this restaurant to others and will go back there again Thank you for a lovely meal. Total bill $95, which we felt was not excessive for the quality of this meal. Parking was plentiful, free and immediately outside the restaurant including disabled bays.

4 of us, visiting from Michigan, met up and had dinner at Placida Grill tonight. The hostess, Jennifer, made a very friendly first impression and some recommendations. It was quite busy, as there was a large group on the restaurant side, and we sat on the bar side. We were greeted promptly and had drinks served quickly, promptly followed by our hot appetizers (beet salad and calamari….both delicious). Our entrees came soon after and we were pleasantly surprised how well the food was presented and tasted!! We visit the area often, and are happy to have found such an excellent restaurant close by! The crew at Placida Grill is doing a fine job. If you haven’t been there yet, please do! You will be happy you did!

Sometimes just have to travel a little for a wonderful dinner. We have been to the Placid and Cape Haze area previously and decided to try Placida Grill in Placida. About a 45 minute drive from our home. It was worth the drive Placida Grill offerings are made to order. Our server was Edda, lovely lady. Appetizer special this evening were chicken wings, we usually keep wings for bar and grill settings but passing other tables enjoying them and then the teasing aromas sealed the deal. The wings were plumb, juicy with a nice crisp exterior, served with fresh in-house sauces. We always have our sauce on the side. We want to keep the crisp fry. It was a very good choice. We also enjoyed a crisp, cold and fresh Ceasar Salad, a well made dressing. We added anchovies, yes we like anchovies! A dinner special was bouillabaisse, a delicious broth of seafood, very comforting and satisfying meal. We also had the Killer Shrimp dish, a strong nod to the Thai shrimp coconut milk curry soup. Wow, velvety, full of those various Thai favors and essence. This dish was more nuanced than the Thai restaurants in our area. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening of dinning here as well as the wonderful service by Edda. Delicious cocktail creations complemented our meal. We will be adding miles to our car to enjoy more meals and miles at Placida Grill.

The killer shrimp was phenomenal! Appetizers were amazing! Entrees flavorful and unique. The desert was a little disappointing...... But still a thumbs up overall. Stellar service We will definitely be back!!!!
