Wayne Heads Southern Kitchen

Wayne Heads Southern is a carry out restaurant located adjacent to the Texaco gas station off of NE 16th Ave in Gainesvillle. There is limited off street parking but most parking is located in the gas station parking lot. The majority of the menu items are fried but the flavor is very good. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and the meal was made to order, fresh and hot. Very good flavor and portion size was good for the price. Be prepared to wait because all orders are made fresh but it's worth the wait. They have a seating area if you want to eat on-site but it only has a seating capacity of 10. If you want some quick soul food that tastes good, this is your place.

The cheeseburger & fries were great. The food was cooked as ordered...hot & fresh. I love a good juicy burger...the fries were just the right size & sprinkled with fry seasoning. The server doesn't engage much...but he's polite when he does. Nice outside seating option available while you wait for your food or to sit & eat your food. I was so ready to eat...I forgot to take a picture. Maybe next time.

I wish I could leave more stars. Best wings I’ve ever had, hands down. The food is always made fresh and the quality is CONSISTENT. I would recommend 100x over. I really hope this business expands. It should be everywhere!

This is an amazing roadside kitchen in a gas station lot. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had wings, fried shrimp and FF. The wings has an amazing crunch to them and the Cajun ranch sauce had the right amount of heat without burning your face off. (Also got the golden bbq which was absolutely killer) The fried shrimp were perfectly cooked, I used to roll served with the meal to make little sliders with the extra Cajun sauce in the container. The fries were perfectly seasoned and easy to eat too many! Well done guys! We won't be in the area for a long time but will never forget it!

I almost didn’t stop when I saw it was in a gas station parking lot lol. I’m so glad I did? If I could give him ten stars I would! He was polite, professional, and his food is top notch! Made fresh to order. I’ll be bringing my boys back!

Little cold outside to sit this time of year. But for a grab and go you can’t beat this place. Convenient location, quick service, good prices, and great tasting food.

I was at the dentist with all 3 of my kids, and of course, we were all hungry. The lady told us we had 30 minutes before my last kid was seen and suggested Mcdonalds or Kfc. She said they both are close by. Instead, I found Wayne's heads, and I can't believe I drove past this little spot all the time. I definitely missed out. There was no wait to order. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, and that's when it was ready. Now, the food....it was delicious. All 3 of my kids loved it. One of my daughters said. "I'm just being honest. This burger is better than Daddy's!" I actually agree. Lol. So much flavor. The shrimp was perfect.. the hot wings were actually hot. We all enjoyed it. We'll worth it.

We are always looking for little hometown places to eat. While traveling back home to central Florida we found Wayne Heads. My husband got the fish sandwich that had enough fish for 2 sandwiches! I am not kidding, a whole fish filet that was sticking out if the bum on both sides! I got the cheeseburger and fries which was equally delicious. All was cooked to order and piping hot. There is only outside seating but we didn't mind. Have to try this place out!
