Cool little bar downtown with lots of tables, TVs, 2 bars, and good bar food The wings and Philly were both really good Heads up sandwiches are a la carte so no fries but very good Friendly staff, parking lot
I haven't been to Hays in maybe 8 years. I came back for a visit and the first thing I did was get a burger from the Q. Nothing seems to have changed but the staff, and that's no bad thing. Still one of the best burgers you can get, promt service, and good beer.
Found this sport bar when driving through Kansas on the way to Colorado. We got there before I kitchen closed at 10pm. Ordered wings and French dip sandwich with fries. Crinkle fries extra crispy, Buffalo sauce hot to my liking and delicious meat in soft hoagie bun. Good food, good service. Nice place to watch games.
One of the best burgers I've ever had! Pretty cool place too. I had the pickle-o burger and I would highly recommend it! Update: Made it back just over a year later and got the ragoon burger. Another winner! Again highly recommend this place for burgers!
The Golden Q Sports Bar is a great place to catch a game and enjoy a good meal with the family. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the beer was ice cold - just how I like it. I especially enjoyed the unique touch of the jalapeno ketchup on the tables. It added a nice kick to my burger! The kids had a blast playing the games, which kept them entertained while we enjoyed the game. Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely be back.
Stopped for lunch. They were very busy and it took a bit before we could order but they handled it like champs. Our food came out to our table hot and fresh and in a reasonable amount of time. The place was rather cold inside which made it a bit uncomfortable but maybe that way by des6so that they can turn tables quicker. Food is always good here, service is usually spot on, and the restaurant is clean. Bathrooms need help
Great hamburger variety. Has a montly special,which I got this time, ( it was a stroganoff burger) ! Soooo good. But will replaced the 1st of the month. I got the crab Rangoon burger last time which is on the permanent menu and an excellent choice. Big burgers cooked to perfection and paired with the proper bun. The picture shows the stroganoff topping on the burger. Wouldn't want to eat it while driving though.
The Golden Q is a very fun place to get a good burger and have some drinks. Lots of unique burger options and large selection of beers. Large heaters outside on the patio. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
