This restaurant embodies the true spirit of the Wisconsin Supper Club experience! My husband and I were blown away by the food and atmosphere. Our waitress was lively, attentive, and executed everything with grace. The Jumbo Shrimp Scampi was to die for. My husband’s steak was literal perfection. We couldn’t stop raving as we sat and took everything in. The staff worked together so well to make sure every customer felt at home. 1000/1000, can’t recommend this place enough. It is so well worth the experience and the food to boot!! We will be back! Oh and don’t skip an espresso martini at the bar-delicious!!
Visited this place through a friend's birthday dinner. Best tiramisu I ever tasted in US!! Steak are great too! I ordered New York Sirloin and it didn't disappoint me I also tried their Tiramisu Martini. Can't wait to be back here again.
I have been going to this establishment for over 30 years. Our mom would take use here for a special diner. I frequent this place at least 2-3 times a year. I’m always impressed with the level of service from the bartenders to the wait staff. They always seem to go out of their way to make the visit one of a kind. The thing that impresses me most is how a certain bartender remembered the exact drink I order including a specific bourbon that I enjoy. The food is always top notch and consistent from visit to visit. That’s what it’s all about. Knowing that regardless of the day, week, year the food is always prepared the same and exceeds expectations. If you enjoy a great meal and a great experience unlike any other place in the city, 5 O’clock is your destination.
I really love to grill my own steaks, it's always better than a restaurant. However, this might be one of my favorite New York Strip steaks I've ever had at a restaurant. It's done uniquely, with au jus. I had it topped with blue cheese, which I really like, along with the button mushrooms. Each bite was amazing. We had guests from France, and they really enjoyed everything. Great atmosphere and service throughout. Thank you!
This is my favorite place to get a filet. Everywhere I've traveled I have always tried to eat a filet and this place still serves the best filet I have ever eaten. broiled at over 1,000 deg. F., perfectly cooked, flavored with more than just salt and pepper and will melt in your mouth. Interestingly served in perfectly flavored Au jus with 3 mushrooms. All sides are served A la cart and are large enough to be shared between 2 people. One of the only places you still get a relish tray. The service and drinks are excellent. Arrive a bit earlier than your reservation for a drink at the bar where your server will find you, give you a menu and take your order your order for dinner. The atmosphere is a cross between a supper club and a mob hang out. Christmas lights are up all year long. You can't help but notice when you walk in everyone is smiling and in a great mood because they know they are going to have an excellent time and a memorable dinner. Don't let the area stop you from this experience. They have free valet parking, and reservations are required.
Outstanding experience! Happened across this absolute gem while in the area and was blown away! Our waitress Annie was so genuinely kind and made our first supper club experience a true delight! Would absolutely come back from Seattle just for this restaurant!!
Visited from Chicago for a concert at The Rave and found this gem for dinner. The neighborhood walk (around 4:30 PM) felt a bit sketchy, so I’d recommend driving. Despite not having a reservation, the staff was incredibly welcoming and squeezed us in for an early dinner. Our server, Angeline, was amazing—attentive and friendly. The managers checked in, and every staff member greeted us warmly. The steak was fantastic, drinks were perfect, and the overall experience was a 10/10. I’d happily drive back to Milwaukee just to dine here again!
The best Steakhouse in Milwaukee. Puts everywhere else to shame. Their menu is transparent on their prices, and worth every penny. Service was amazing, explained everything about every appetizer, side dishes, mains and desserts we had a question about. My 21oz ribeye in their au jus and mushrooms was different but very good. I mixed a little au jus with the mashed potatoes and it was fire. I loved the whole experience, and again, the service was amazing. I'm definitely going back for seconds and thirds. Don't forget to make a reservation. Sorry for not having a picture of the steak, I just started eating.
